Ooooooh yes!!! A Saturday night show practically on my doorstep - life could not be any better. Getting tix - and how much I'm willing to spend for 'em - now the challenge!! Thanks, Paul! I knew you didn't really want to play Jersey...

Have been lurking the boards for a while and finally joined! Regarding the two rumored dates that Walliebaby just posted June 8 & 10 @ Barclays --what about the post below that somebody earlier stated? Thoughts? puppywhimpers wrote: The Brookyln shows rumor may be just what it was, a rumor. The Nets will be making the playoffs and the NBA playoff season usually runs through mid June

Seems quite clear from those photos on the last page that Paul *is* indeed playing Brooklyn (a massive coup in and of itself - well done, Barclays Center folks!!): just a matter of whether those dates are correct....I'll be there regardless. Gobsmacked by the acts they've booked in 6 months of operation and now Macca?!?! Waaaaaaheyyy!

Oh and fwiw, think it would be an absolute miracle for the Nets to still be alive in the playoffs come early June! Going by last year's timetable, that'd mean they'd be in the conference finals....not feeling that! I'll certainly be wishing them luck but that's an awfully big ask. I think those early June dates for Paul seem a pretty safe bet.

The ads for Paul playing Brooklyn can be found in Manhattan.
-
Does this rumour still make sense given that he is playing July 14th in Indianapolis and then Seattle on the 19th? Any thoughts?
-
According to a reported playoff schedule, Nets would be on the road from June 7-14.

Probably true but, of course, any scheduling has to be premised on the scenario that all potential games will be played.

My husband said the same thing about the Nets still being "alive" by then. But he also said (just assuming here) that an arena would probably not book dates knowing there's a chance that the local team could be in it. Can't take the suspense anymore... hope they announce soon!!

Milwaukee will be filling in that gap with a July 16 show.

Fair point but can't imagine all these arenas stay dark for almost two months on the hope that their resident team make to the finals! That's leaving a whole lot of money on the table and could potentially scare off future bookings...they must have a little leeway within the playoff schedule window to provide for other events taking place. Just knowing it's a matter of which dates - vs. whether it's happening at all! - is a huge relief.

Whether or not he announces any California shows, Out There is turning into a Major McCartney tour! While I wouldn't count on San Diego, I hope he announces something in So Cal.

I just remembered that two of my dearest friends live a stone's throw from Milwaukee... and they are fans. Hmmm. I must do my duty and alert them if this happens.
