I wish Indy was in May. The time frame of these shows are all bad for me.
Yeah, none of them work for me.

I just can't afford it after doing Hot Sound. Ooobu, are you coming to Milwaukee?

I wonder if there will be more US dates. There are already quite a few booked. The southwest and Rocky Mountains regions are totally ignored so far.

He still has about a two week gap at the end of July/early August. Probably nothing Southwest but, maybe northern california dates or something?

No...even if the dates would work...I'm not crazy about the stadium shows anymore.

I won't be doing Quebec again. Too grueling in 2008. No, there was no seating at all except for VIPs on platforms about a football field away. I was awake on my feet for nearly 24 hours. Could be ok if you plan to be sitting up on the hill, but that's not where I wanted to be.

So the tour starts next week. No more rumors? Looks like he won't be coming to So Cal. With the west coast covered by the Seattle and Outside Lands dates. Then again, Quebec City announcement came out of nowhere. C'mon Paul, San Diego!

The Seattle show is for Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand fans too...as well as festival-avoiding California fans.

I think the next batch of rumours we hear about will be Europe Shows in November/December and then I do believe Japan or Australia in February or next summer.

I don't think the average fan will be coming from ANY of those places to see Paul. If you can afford to do that, fine. But don't pretend that any of the rest of us can!

Well put. I live in Honolulu and specifically waited for the Seattle show. Would love to do Outside Lands, but not knowing what night he's there, to be stuck sorting through what is not a very strong line-up and way too many people is not worth it... for all the far west coasters not right around SF, as you wisely noted, Seattle is the only one. Very, very grateful we got it. Seattle is also, fyi, an excellent air connection for folks in our area, plus they have outstanding light rail and public transit to make visiting a breeze. Only negatives are cold temps in other seasons, and relating to this show, high hotel prices and the lack of intimacy in a huge stadium. But I am super, super stoked, coming from Hawaii, that we got Seattle. Totally is our show, as you say.

I guess it's for New Mexico fans too!

Paul should do something like this: http://www.pollstar.com/news_article.aspx?ID=805001 If the Stones can, Paul can. $20 for a surprise show at a club.

I actually was incredibly lucky enough to get a ticket to go to this last night! Actually, I have quite the story about how I got my ticket. It's kind of long, but it's worth a read through: Let's go back in time to about 11 am yesterday. I'm driving in my car, off to run some errands, when I turn on the radio and I hear that the Stones are doing a secret show in L.A. Once I heard this, I drove like a madman to get in line at the El Rey. I get there about 12:30, line snaking around the block, thinking immediately that my odds don't look good, but, I hung around after I found out that they were giving out tickets via a lottery. Around 2 pm, a person comes around handing out tickets with numbers. I get number 312072. As I walk up the sidewalk, another guy with a megaphone states that people who have tickets with numbers in between 312094 and 312400-something are getting into the show. A guy who I had been talking with had a ticket with 312100. HE GIVES ME HIS TICKET, and tells me to enjoy the show!!!!! I thank him profusely, and then I got my actual ticket and wristband to get me in the show!!!!!

That is SO cool! So how were the Stones?? I enjoy their music and concerts. I think Paul should do some secret club dates or play some last minute shows in smaller markets (hint hint!) where his big stage would not make sense.

The Stones were great! It was actually my first time seeing them in concert, and I loved every minute of it! I'm actually seeing them again later in May at the Staples Center, but I don't that gig will even compare to seeing them at the Echoplex!
