THE MOODY BLUES...

^^ Yes it is beautiful and it was exactly what my mind was thinking tonight. I like it when a song comes to mind when your experiencing certain circumstances in life, reminiscing about the past, or even thinking of the future. Love & Peace!

Same them live 3 times in the 80's. All great performances!

"Face Piles of Trials with Smiles" --phrase from a Moody Blues album that's especially apt now what with Mercury in Retrograde recently, which results in all sorts of havoc in people's lives according to stuff I read online recently Which might be superstitious "it's in the stars" malarkey, but the phrase still holds true, rings a bell, resonates and makes sense. It's better to laugh and smile and shrug it off than always be full of doom and gloom and crying all the time-- and not sweat the small stuff OR the big stuff--easier said than done...but you gotta flip it, turn it around and switch from negative to positive, from darkness to light, jeeze can I come up with any more cliches

After a emotional weekend in London seeing Macca, sod it in my family they all know him as GOD, meeting up with quite a few board members past and present. Just had an emotional evening watching Justin Hayward solo for the first time, and I will not see 35 ok 45 again. My oldest friend like cough cough 48 years, we used to play dollies together, ok action man, flew in from the Isle of Man to attend it with me. He couldn't make London due to family stuff, I hate having responsible men friends. I don't think he has heard any of the Moodies since I left ulster in 1979 nevermind Justin. He came out saying it was the best concert he has seen in a long time and trust he has seen a few. He promotes on a small scale on the Isle, mostly up and coming bands he has seen in the UK and Ireland on his business travels but also Kiki Dee, Beverley Craven etc. Fantastic support act did 4 songs, well no singing just guitar playing a Mike Dawes, got a standing ovation from a mostly middle aged crowd. Check him out on you tube. He supported Mr Hayward later along with a fine female keyboardist who provided backing vocals. Very much an acoustic feel to it kinda of set I have wanted to see from macca for years. was fantastic.
