Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors

Bob Gannon:
Having said that, my travel plans for this summer have not been made. I have Pittsburgh tickets for 7/7 and have taken a week vacation in the hopes that there will be another show or two that week I can catch near each other...Right now, hoping to drive the 6 1/2 hours to Pittsburgh and whatever is close...but I may have to switch over to plan B and do flights
How far is Albany from you? Go to that one, isn't it closer?

Bob Gannon:
Erik, for my own selfish reasons I have absolutely no desire to prove you wrong....I live in JERSEY and would be over the top excited if that materializes!
Thanks Bob! I walk past MSG every day on my way to Penn Sta. and now that it's been redone (MSG that is) it's be great to see a show there or across the river in NJ. I'm in Bergen County. What part of the state are you in? You going to Albany?
Hey Erik, I'm down by Seaside Heights.>Albany would have been doable but my job and it landing on 4th of July weekend makes it impossible!!

Erik in NJ:
I would be very suprised to see Paul doing a 2014 tour without either MSG or something being done across the river in NJ. Prove me wrong Bob whoever you are.
You're going to be very surprised then
I see surprise in Erik's future.

Oops! I forgot to predict a show in New Jersey! ops:
C'mon Martinez, I thought we were brothers in the states that get skipped over club!!
Ok, well enough! Solidarity for states that get skipped!

So Albuquerque almost happened last year????? Ah, that sux!!!
-
Will be off the grid all weekend..working 7pm to 7am all weekend. Pretty much work and sleep. Public sales on Monday...good luck to all of those trying then!!! I would think more news next week...would make sense and things should be somewhat clearer. Or surprise the crap out of everyone and announce the rest!! :

I think it was Las Cruces. Paul played there in 93 and the promoter for that show first tried to line up two McCartney shows last year, an arena show in Lubbock and one in Las Cruces. When the numbers didn't work, then a stadium show in Las Cruces was almost nailed down. That went away when McCartney's people "re-routed" the tour to Memphis.
-
Bob Gannon:
It is NEVER 100% in the books until Paul makes an official announcement!
Even then its not 100%, remember Horsens?

It's not 100% sure (for any concert) until you've left the venue that night.

shows you how much I know....thought it was Albuquerque..but since it got cancelled I probably jusy erased it from my mind. I probably knew it was Las Cruces but have stored it in memory as Albuquerque because of my friend who lives there!. As far as Lubbock, I honestly had never heard that last year

Well, if all the dates are already in the can, why not just announce 'em altogether for cryin' out loud???
Because Paul's management thrive on the suspense and making the fans run to all corners of the country for his shows. It sells more tickets....tickets which are grossly more expensive this year.
Ironically (or then again, maybe not!), Paul's manager was recently named "Manager of the Year!"

Probably because it never got very far. The stadium show in Las Cruces is the one that was closer to happening, then got the plug pulled. It was in an article here, no inside info on my part!

And Liam Gallagher fired him after he put on a McCartney-like PR approach to his latest album, which flopped as hard as 'New'. 'nuff said.

Huh? You're saying that the album "New" was a flop??
