I think "Early Days" will save the day, though.
Maybe. On the other hand, they did a really cool video for Appreciate, a track that hasn't been promoted at all otherwise, except maybe in Japan. Again, kinda puzzling.
I do think that "Early Days" represents what the general population expects out of a musician/singer his age: imparting wisdom, connecting with his roots. So who knows?
I think the song is more him joining in the online debate via song
The online debate about his early days? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

eh...not from the look of those pics. That setting is more for the likes of a blues singer like Clapton. IMHO.
I've not seen any pics - where are they? thanks
Don't remember the thread here but I just googled... http://wogew.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/mccartney-early-days.html
If I didn't know any better, I'd say he had some facial work done for those photos
Well since the current pictures of him look just like the usual Paul, I'd say if any work was done, it was done with Photoshop for the photos.

Does Paul still have his Zenith guitar? It looks like that's what he has in those shots. And yes, there's definitely some photoshop that makes him look a bit different.

OH, the great Lennon vs McCartney debate. It's been raging for years among fans. People making claims like John and Paul never liked each other ever and that John did all the music making in the band's early days. The band was basically John's. Stuff like that

I think it is just terrible lighting.

Oh, I see, okay. From reading the book "Tune In," I'd say they had their ups and downs, but they were definitely very close after Stu left the band. But of course, "people have their own opinions / of who did this and who did that."

Yep, that's the stuff. We don't see it here on this board but on other groups, it can rage and get really angry and nasty with the fighting of John fans claiming he was the driving creative force and didn't like Paul. So, I'm not surprised that Paul expressed his own opinion in his own way
