Did Paul's Voice Really Change?

This is a good article about Paul's voice. https://macca-news.blogspot.nl/2016/10/the-voice.html ETA: When I posted this here I didn't realize it was Eggman's blog that he had just posted!

Thanks for the compliment! The B-side was: Love come tumbling down

I heard his voice changed when the studios at Abbey Rd switched from valve equipment to solid state transistors. Around 1966-67.

I was watching video of Paul playing at the Desert Concert last month. Sad to see. His voice never sounded worse. It's too bad Paul's voice has given out late in his career. Elvis' voice never gave out, even during his last concerts. Elvis probably had the best pipes in the business.

Those amateur concert videos always sound much worse than the actual live performances. You shouldn't place much stock in those.

Fer cryin' out loud, Elvis was only 42 when he died!!! Of course he still sounded fabulous! And Paul still sounded pretty great when he was in his early 60s!

Too true, Nancy. The two best voices of the era in Elvis and Freddie Mercury both died way too young. One wonders how those brilliant vocals would've gone through the ages..... Man, I miss them both.... although given recent proceedings I am tipping Elvis would've moved on from singing and a little-FBI interaction and into politics, still residing as the President (naturally they would've changed the two-term restriction... cos, like, He is Elvis).

Come on guys, FYI Elvis is alive and well and still performing.
