James Taylor on Wednesday
James Taylor is coming to Baltimore in December, but I've got my own gig that night....he seems to come around almost every year though, so not too crushed about missing another one. :
-
Can't say he comes to Belfast quite so often!
-
just saw amon amarth tonight (thursday) dhani harrison on wednesday (conan o brian show) and now paul this sunday what a busy week
-
Skipping not one Neil, but two in 2015! Neil Diamond the day before Easter, no way. Saw him once and it was well worth the money, but a second time AND the timing don't exactly lend themselves. Neil Sedaka in May...$88....HA! I certainly respect both greatly, but I just cannot justify these outlandish prices.
-
It probably seems like I spend more time complaining about ticket prices than going to shows lately....Billy Idol...$75...YEESH! ...carry on.
-
gonna try to get tix for carach angren with septic flesh and absymal dawn with deicide as the head liner for later this month its a metal show and maybe mabe knotfest
-
FINALLY, something I can justify... The Who! 2015 50th Ann./Farewell (yeah right) Tour! Nov. 1st 2015 in DC...yes, over a YEAR away. Tickets on sale next week...$50-$150, fair enough for me. I've never seen 'em before and I'll kick myself all the way to the grave if I don't get to one of these days before it's too late.
-
Went to see Kylie but my husband collapsed at the arena just before the gig started so an evening of fun turned into a nightmare really, still hes ok now and indeed getting eager to get gig going again,so after a nice evening in the company of Michael Palin's show the other night it's Caro Emerald next week so looking forward to that.
-
DAVE & PHIL ALVIN and the GUILTY ONES go see them if you get a chance, they are very much worth the money,, time,, & effort I seen them 2013 in a theater up close,, then august 22nd 2014 in a small club that hold 300 people. they still got it & deliver it to you..... they start a tour soon in great Britain then SPAIN & ITALY and other places in Europe.....they will also be on that show called LATER WITH JOOLS HOLLAND in late October..... so check them out
-
Bryan Ferry next year and hope to get something decent for Fleetwood Mac ( finally they are playing on my day off )
-
Managed to get myself decent Bryan Ferry tickets for the Liverpool Phil next year,he was great last time out and seem as though our Paul doesn't want my money at the moment i have to book acts that do want my cash ,seriously i'm seeing Joan Armatrading too next year for the 2nd time since i last saw Paul when you start to weigh things up like that it does seem the Paul is without doubt "resting" the UK/Euro market.
-
Got great seats for The Who...13 months away! ...and with that, my 2015 concert calendar begins construction! Still got Cher w/ Pat Benatar in December.
-
possibly for next month obituary w/death and maybe the misfits
-
Saw Caro Emerald at Manchester's big arena the other night, she was brilliant, big voice in a big ole barn of a place, simply she should not have been there, shes far better in a smaller venue where she can connect with the crowd. But what a talent if she comes near try and catch her.
-
Well I may take a second stab at Fleetwood Mac since they're returning in January. Missed them on Halloween...just so damn expensive...we'll see!
-
Fleetwood Mac definitely is NOT happening again...outrageous pricing. Considering Felix Cavaliere & Mark Farner together, June 2015 in Lancaster...nice theatre size venue and only $50!

I did indeed get my tickets for Fleetwood Mac,oddly the same price as when i saw them last year so to say the least i was surprised by that.

Just back from a long weekend visiting family in Gothenburg (Sweden) and also went to see Sir Elton John who playing at a venue called Scandinavium on his 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road tour'. This will be the 6th time I've seen him live, and I think he's at his best at the moment, amazing show and energy! The setlist was: Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding Bennie and the Jets Candle in the Wind All the Girls love Alice Levon Tiny Dancer Believe Daniel Philadelphia Freedom Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Rocket Man Hey Ahab I Guess Thats why they call it the Blues The One Your Song Burn Down the Mission Sad Songs (Say so much) Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word Don't Let the Sun go Down on me The Bitch is Back I'm Still Standing Your Sister can't twist (But she can rock n roll) Saturday Nights allright for Fighting Encore: Sacrifice Crocodile Rock
-
I saw that tour here about a year ago exactly...interesting to see what has changed since then! We didn't get Daniel, Burn Down The Mission, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, or Sacrifice...BUT we did get Grey Seal (LOVE!), Holiday Inn, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Ocean's Away, and Home Again.
-
Yes he'll often rotate a few songs in and out, have heard him do Someone saved my life tonight, but not the others you mentioned.
