It's hard to tell because of the lighting. But in that Phoenix pic his shirt sleeve is whiter than the jacket so I thought it may be ivory.

That's the one...thanks! Yea, I think the jacket in Phoenix was more white than Fargo...a lot nicer than the 3/4 coats he wore earlier in the tour!
You mean the pink and baby blue???
LOL...no I was talking about the dark colored 3/4 length (long coats) he wore prior to the U.S. dates.

Sgt._Pepper:
More people brought on stage tonight. The first ones were Andrea and Adam. Paul officiated a "marriage ceremony" for them because they are engaged to be married, according to their sign. And another girl, Annie, was invited on stage to dance during "Get Back". http://s12.postimg.org/lf2vp3z71/10599484_10152727637338313_6011783152362086796_n.jpg
Andrea barely knew her husband to be was on stage, she was totally focused on her interaction with Paul. her sign said that he was ordained and Paul said, I dont think I am, and she said oh I thought you were, I read it on the internet. : Annie the dancer basically bounded around all over the stage...jump jump jump.

This is the sort of nonsense that happens when casual fans draw a sign and then get invited on stage. Ridiculous! If Paul wants to do something cool, why not invite local musicians to play outside the venue for waiting patrons, then have a couple of handlers go and pick the best musicians, and bring them on stage to play a song? At least you will have musicians getting the experience of a life time of playing with Paul McCartney on stage, and we can all understand why they are up there. But this weirdness of him "marrying" a couple is just asking for trouble. What was Paul thinking?

Exactly. I would love to have seen the woman dancing during Get Back.

This is a strange thread. Any comments about the actual concert?

that was a big part of the concert which is why it keeps getting mentioned. I can give a review later, am traveling home from the Stick today.

Were you at sound check? If so about how many were there?
-
I think there were about 100-150 people at soundcheck. Does anybody happen to have any pictures? I was trying out a new camera, but it didn't work. cry

Thanks, how was the sound check crowd?
-
It was good. I've been to one other soundcheck. This one didn't seem as lively. It may have been because Shelly wasn't there. I want to go to another one, but can't afford it. cry Maybe I can save up before his next tour. Out of curiosity, how have you gotten to meet Paul twice (you're so lucky!)? I was lucky enough to meet him once, but have no memory of the actual meeting part because I was so overwhelmed. I distinctly remember before and after, but the during is a blur.

Just wondering why all the questions about the soundcheck? I'm sorry if I am overstepping but I see you've asked that in a few threads & it just made me wonder. Soundcheck diary?

This video has the marriage thing and then part of dancing Annie. She danced like that throughout the entire song so you can get the idea.

BTW the girl with the "We're Engaged" sign was extremely irritating--it was HUGE and I was behind her--she did not stop holding it up (and blocking my view of Paul) ALL NIGHT--even AFTER she got on stage!! Really, really rude and self-centered--but she got what she wanted, I guess--so who am I to judge??? Arghhh!! Austin 5/22/13 Sound check!
