I couldn't take it, I just got tickets, Any pre concert gatherings tomorrow ? Any sight of the band or MJ in town or hotels?
did u buy last minute Phil? the crew should be there now ... got set list in Salt Lake-- if u see thread hav fun --------San Francisco tomorrow!!! um do tell you met Paul in Nebraska!!
Harley I bought the tickets and booked a flight last night around 9:00. I had to cancel San Fran, so I was getting antsy, long story short, It's 5:30 now and I'm waiting for my cab to the airport. Did Mr. Riddle give you the set list? When I get back and you get back from SF I'll PM you about the Nebraska meet and greet
I would have chosen this concert too over the SF show 'cos here you'll be much closer to the stage as it is a much smaller venue. Have a great time, Phil!
Thanks!
Phil...have a great time at the Phoenix show tonight!! Tom
Tom, thanks, wish you and your son were here.!
Thanks, Phil...that makes 3 of us!!
-

More people brought on stage tonight. The first ones were Andrea and Adam. Paul officiated a "marriage ceremony" for them because they are engaged to be married, according to their sign. And another girl, Annie, was invited on stage to dance during "Get Back". http://s12.postimg.org/lf2vp3z71/10599484_10152727637338313_6011783152362086796_n.jpg

What next? Is he gonna bring someone on stage and help them fold their laundry?

An article with mention of the fans brought on stage http//www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/music/2014/08/13/paul-mccartney-concert-review-phoenix-new/13989755/

I think this is one of the quietest concert threads ever. Any attendee reports, is everyone asleep? I love reading fan recaps.

No one has been brought on stage for a while & now since Ron Howards Co. is hanging around, fans are being brought up again....It should be a packed stage at Candlestick ! lol

Cool. While Mick and Keith are traveling the world cementing their reputations as Rock's bad boys, Paul can be remembered as the Willy Wonka of Rock. He should put on a top hat and tails for these on stage shenanigans.

I haven't chimed in on the subject yet, but I guess I'll take this opportunity to do so. I see it as a very quick event that fulfills a fan's lifelong dream, and takes maybe 1-2 minutes out of an entire 3 hour show. When I have witnessed a fan get on stage, I've been thrilled, and it has added to the show for me, as well as for those around me and those who I have spoken with. And when it happened to me, the response I got was 100% positive from every single person I came in contact with (and there were hundreds). They commented that they enjoyed watching it, they were blown away, it was totally unexpected for them, and it added to the overall excitement and experience of the show for them, just like it does when I witness it happen to other fans. And Paul obviously enjoys it, or he wouldn't do it. I really don't understand all the negativity, because when I'm at a show where it happens, it's always so thrilling to see!
