mods can confirm when Macca does... https://fireflyfestival.com/ [/url] Edit it's confirmed so I'll fix it myself.
-
I have heard of exactly six of those artists.

Great news! June 19, the night after his (and mine) birthday. Who's going?
-
If anyone plans on attending, I highly recommend they check out Gary Clark, Jr. -- in addition to Macca, of course.

thanks - and the date, even! I fixed my thread title.

A couple of people on the Firefly message board are concerned because of his SNL performance, but the overwhelming majority are excited, and they're convinced it'll be a great show.

That will be their loss if they did not go because of one song performed on a show full of bad performances. I saw him twice last year, and I can assure them...they will not be disappointed!

It's better when you're actually at the show. And, despite the not-so-awesome SNL performance, it must be noted that singing live on television is one of the most dreaded experiences by pro performers. Cher hates singing on tv -- and she's one of the best singers around. Still, more often than not, if she's performing on a tv-program, she's lip-syncing. Singing on telecasts accentuates ALL the negatives.

Paul will rock the Firefly Festival. And I will not be there.

You haven't seen a show since '09. You're long-over due, ol' man.

I'll never say never. If he plays in my neck of the woods, I may just have to go!

Biggest thing to hit Delaware since Washington crossed the river!

The only hotel available is in Maryland!

Just called the Firefly people to inquire about VIP passes and they told me it is Paul's only US appearance this summer and I asked why aren't they billing it that way on their website and they said a banner page will be going up soon declaring that. If this is the case the VIP option may seem like a bargain if it is only US appearance. Bob Gannon-help another Jerseyite out with any info.

I won't call anyone an outward liar but let's just say don't believe everything you hear. Probably just trying to boost ticket sales

There's too much open space left in the schedule. Last show that we know of for sure is I think July 9th which leaves the rest of July and August for more shows in what could be a host of other places Possibilities US Mexico South America Canada Or even more Europe shows Wouldn't panic just quite yet
-
i was thinking the same thing-hate to drop $700 only to find out he is playing Newark, NJ or anywhere else on the east coast. Thanks Bob!
-
I'd say save your $700 and wait for something closer and with seats

Just notice that a band is called TYCHO, which coincidentally is a name Paul called one of the Liverpool locals in one of his poems... which is also a crater on the moon... wonder if that's a coincidence?
