So, what do we think the odds are for a second show being added?
I'm thinking no...I'm getting on the presale Monday and taking the first thing they give me unless it's behind the stage!
WixRocks...see above, which sale are you referring to? I can't tell if there is the fanclub sale and the Wells Fargo VIP or whether they are one in the same.

petercmeisel:
Is this in addition to the fanclub sale or is this something separate?
It's a separate company that sells authorized VIP packages.

So Monday, it's all VIP tickets through the fan club and the local venue?

There will be regular seats available thru the fan club, but its a battle and doesn't last long. People will be pissed off. I go right for the VIP packages when I can afford it. I like the Hot Sound Package. Front Row isn't worth it, they put you all the way to the extreme left or right side of the stage. Good Luck

Does anyone have an idea how much regular seats might be this time? We paid $95 in 2010.

Really hoping for floor seats for this one ... but WixRocks has me worried about getting tickets at all! Wonder if I should just grab the first 2 that pop up, rather than being at all picky ...
I'm not trying to worry anyone! Just have to know how to play the game... Personally, I'm hoping for something in the first level of arena seats as that riser really makes things rough on the floor crowd these days.
Yeah, that's true! The first level of the arena seats would be sweet. Great view of everything.
We had seats like this last time in Philly (and last year in Pittsburgh). I'd like to experience seats nearly at the corner of the stage on the first riser. I've never had that kind of angle tomorrow, I can see disadvantages...but think it would be quite surreal at times.
Personally, I think those are some of the best seats you can get, besides being in the first 5 rows on the floor. You are close, elevated, see everything.. Plus you get a great view of "behind the scenes." I remember being on the very end in Brooklyn along side where Paul walks out.. He was right below me. We interacted on his way back stage during encores a few times. It was amazing! I'm on a mission now to find out which way the seat numbering runs.

Same here. I waited for tickets in Albany, never got them. Three weeks later, $99.50 "limited view" seats popped up. I bought them, and it turns out I was right to the side where Paul enters/exits. It was surreal- I was really off to the side though- couldn't see the screens or anything. Sound sucked in the beginning. But, at the end of the show, I ran down to the barricade off to the side. Paul came down the ladder and bee-lined over to us, and fist-bumped, said hello. In between the encores he would come down after Hey Jude, Get Back and would stay down there for a few seconds, and would wave (after Hey Jude, he came down and threw his arms out and said "what's up?!" and the whole section went nuts. Plus I learned while back there that the two upright rectangle video screens (that just show him and the band) are actually closer to the audience than the big video screen that shows the visuals. There's a white curtain behind the big video screen. His whole setup is amazing- I never dreamed there would be so much back there! Also saw the Hofner up close, and talked to Brian Riddle, John Hammel. Was a sweet night! Would definitely get those seats again!
-
That's awesome, KingMacca! Great experiences in "limited view"! While you may not see the screens, you see so much more that the rest of the audience does not. I cannot do VIP this year, so I'm going for the best I can get otherwise, and maybe hit Charlotteville also.

I spent so much money on hotel and airfare on Glendale, AZ years ago I had to settle for first level, side stage seats. One of the best shows I've seen.
-
Will they post the price of these tickets before they go on sale Monday? thanks!

Killer! Thanks for sharing that video! In 2002 we had the same seats in Denver, except on the other side!

I see pricing for regular seats, but not sound check hot packages. (

That info will be available on Monday at 9 AM: http://www.slotix.com/TourPackages?TourName=Out+There+in+North+America&ArtistName=Paul+McCartney

That doesn't seem fair. How can one plan?

Soundcheck packages will probably be priced similarly to last year's....the Front Row packages have been $2,000 per ticket, and the Hot Sound have been $1,500. The non-soundcheck VIP packages start at around $600-ish for Gold. Sorry, I dont know the price for the Silvers but I think they are $400-500. I hope that helps you plan?
