Lollapalooza has a radius clause of 300 miles for six months before and three months after the festival. Often times, this can be broken or special permission can be granted from Lollapalooza to do so otherwise. For example, last year's headliners Outkast played a Summerfest in Milwaukee a month prior to Lollapalooza. While I doubt McCartney will play Milwaukee, it could be other places distant from Chicago. I would say at least 250+ miles. My vote is between Detroit, Des Moines, anything in Ohio, Omaha, and less likely Toronto, Buffalo, Madison, Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Wichita. Who knows how far he could stretch? None of these places have been Out There, a few have been On the Run, some were Up and Coming, and then there are those he's never been before at all.
Milwaukee got Out There July 16, 2013...Anyone there will not forget the extreme heat and humidity! Seemed almost as hot in Paris yesterday...
My bad. I thought that was On The Run considering most of that tour was baseball stadiums in 2011. I had it confused with Wrigley that year.
He's more than welcome to come back to Milwaukee, though! Just please not Miller Park again....Worst...acoustics...ever!!! From somewhere over Canada heading home!
Maybe to christen the new Bucks arena, whenever that might be.

About Europe ... He avoids some country like : Portugal ,Spain,Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, greece .. He is popular in that place too.. But ,all that country are still in recession.. It is more profitabily go play in Sweden or Norway. It is one sad thing, Its all about money And that is not rock and roll

Mind you, I know nothing about any future shows, but let's wait and see...

With the final (planned) European show on July 9, and the Chicago festival on July 31, it seems likely that there would be 2 to 3 shows as "warm-ups" to Chicago. Not very efficient to come back to the States for only one show.

I wonder, though, how much is demanded in terms of Paul's crew and gear for a festival versus a regular concert. It's a shame about that 300-mile "ban."

I would think it more likely for three shows to come after the festival just like he's about to do this week.

It could be either or. He could do shows before the fest and the fest would close that leg of the tour (Bonnaroo 2013) or he could have shows following the fest (Firefly 2015.) And while it is a 300 mile ban, there are exceptions with all fests, and Lollapalooza can be pretty lenient on that policy. Bonnaroo also had a 300 mile clause, but theirs was for 90 days prior and 30 days after. The case there was that he played Memphis less than a month before.

Isn't it getting a bit late for shows around Lolla time? Six weeks,I think....If there were plans for a few shows, you'd think an anouncement would be real soon. I didn't get tix for Philly,in hopes of something else in the Midwest like Michigan or Ohio. Looks like I may have made a mistake

If there are more shows, I would expect them to be announced while he is here in the states next week. If nothing is announced next week, I would be very surprised if anything more were to come in the summer months.

Don't wrack your brains for more shows coming. They aren't right now. August he is completely off and on holiday. Hearing a wait and see for any further 2015 dates
-
I though there might be 1 more in July but it didn't make sense. Now I know why the confusion.
-
As far as the Sept Festival rumor.....it's still possible but quite a lot of room for error at this point. Can't get more descriptive then that

thanks for the updates, Bob

anybody think Lolla could be the end of the Out There tour? I've even seen one article suggesting that a couple of days ago. If he doesn't have anything firm after July he could take a break, do whatever he wants and come back with a new tour when he is ready. I will say there is a great interview with Lawrence Juber on the Things We Said Today podcast. He mentions he doesn't ever see Macca retiring. Mentions that being on stage is part of who he is. He also mentions if he stops - well, would he ever start up again given his age. Finally, he mentioned Paul's tour is a big machine. It's alot easier to keep it going then to turn it off and then have to restart it. RamblinRed
