Yeah, and why he drops songs like For No One and You Won't See Me but keeps Mr. Kite and All Together Now is a mystery.
I'm over Mr. Kite and All Together Now - throw in Lovely Rita as well. Glad I got to see them but let's add some others. I'm still a huge fan of the 2005 tour setlist. For No One, I'll Follow the Sun (which he did recently at the gala in NYC), I'll Get You, In Spite of All the Danger...!! I wouldn't mind Hello Goodbye making a comeback
I like all your ideas!! For No One!! OMG!!

Dont forget the songs he wrote for other artists that became huge hits. I would die to hear him play songs like 'Goodbye', 'On the wings of a nightingale', 'Woman', 'So like candy', etc. live. I dont understand why he plays a Lennon-penned garbage song like Mr. Kite over other classics he wrote but never played live.

I don't think Paul needs to play Mr. Kite. But NONE of the Paul penned songs you mentioned are in the universe of being near as good as Mr. Kite. Wings of a Nightingale is great, though!

I think most of these are obscure enough that he thinks he'd lose the audience if he played them. In most cases that 's probably true, but personally I think On the Wings of a Nightingale would be an exception. I'd love him to play that, but I'm not holding my breath.

You might know that was the one tour I missed!

Just play " I want to hold your hand" At least 50 % Mccartney Actually the title came from Pauls "I wanna be your man"

"n most cases that 's probably true, but personally I think On the Wings of a Nightingale would be an exception. I'd love him to play that, but I'm not holding my breath." I would faint if he did "on The Wings of A Nightengale", absolutely love that song !! I think there is a demo of Mr. McCartney doing it but never a true recorded version.

My suggestions are , from his solo work: "Young Boy," and Beatles "Revolution," yes, I know it was a John song, so what! Ppl would flip
-
I want to change my vote to "I Feel Fine" and ""Freedom." Talkin bout freedom
-

You would love to hear 'Somebody Who Cares" live sometime, just Paul alone, with his acoustic guitar, and the band may join in on the solo, can be awesome!
-
I think A Hard Day's Night would be a cool addition for Paul (even though Lennon does sing lead). Did John ever perform the song during any of his solo concerts? -Rubber Soul13

John never performed "A Hard Day's Night" during his solo concerts.

Something I thought of while hearing it during the pre-show the other night.. Hey Bulldog. Yes, it's a John song.. but I can totally hear Rusty and Brian shredding that one on their guitars!!!! The vocal range seems very suitable for Paul these days, as well! Adding that one to my request list!
-
Ticket to Ride : although it leans towards a John song they both played and sang on it. Don't see there being a prob for the band learning this, feel it would be very well received if played live.

In dreams I've imagined him in concert, stepping up to his piano, the lights go low, everyone thinking My Love.....& he breaks into Why Don"t We Do it in the Road....I'd love it !! Also, Hold Me Tight. I've loved this song for 51 years, I'd probably faint if he did it. Martha My Dear, He has enough pics of himself with Martha he could put up on the screen. It would be cute !
Anything but My Love! It's such a tedious song. I know it is a love song for Linda and I really liked her, but, yeah, let's have WDWDIITR! What a smasher that would be! Hold Me Tight would be good too. Martha My Dear I don't like, it's boring, I think.

When Paul could do it justice, My Love was incredible! One of my favorites. I guess you don't like ballads because you keep calling them "boring" here and in that other thread. Oh well, to each his/her own!

I don't think I don't like ballads, Nancy R. I love, for instance, And I love her (one of the best) and P. S. I Love You. I just dislike the melody of My Love and TLAWR.

I had My Love and Here, There and Everywhere played at my first wedding! (so we agree to disagree)
