Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

An appearance in LA on September 30 COULD mean some shows in the west coast, or southwest around that time. But since it is a charity event, I am not so sure. Wait and see, as usual. Possibilities? Portland, Seattle, Denver, Boise, Fresno, Las Vegas.

I think it's pretty fair to assume that other shows might be happening too. It doesn't make sense for him to fly out to L.A. to do one charity gig, and do nothing else while he's within distance of those cities you mentioned.

Well now he's back in the states in September...who knows?!?
He has not done US fall shows since 2005. Could be a possibility for this year, considering he only did a few in the summer. You just never know with Paul. I'm staying tuned and hoping for some more! Although if any dates do pop up, I'd predict other parts of the country get hit besides the East Coast. We were lucky over here this year!
Besides the 2014 tour dates mentioned by others, don't forget November of 2012 when he played in St Louis and Houston, followed by Canadian shows in Vancouver (where I saw him) and Edmonton. Those dates were always planned for the fall unlike last year's shows.

I did forget about those. It does seem likely he could do some more this fall. Hoping he does, actually!

It may say enjoy a fantastic concert by Paul & band but the amount of songs still could be very subjective. If he played 10 songs, it's still considered a concert. Just be careful is all I'm saying. It's a lot of money $10,000 for a table of 6!
Yep! $1666 per person! (hmmmm...666, the sign of the devil!)
-
Hope a Vegas concert is added! By the way if one of you rich people buys one of those tables for 6 and are one person short, please invite me

If we give you a free ticket, it would cost the other 5 of us $2000!
-
Yes, cost more than soundcheck package except with no soundcheck!

or backpack. lol

For the 1999 PETA event at Paramount Studios, individual tickets were about $350, so they are likely to also have single tickets for this years event I assume they will be more than $350 though.

LOL...for sure they are more expensive. "Due to overwhelming demand, all ticket inquiries are now being placed onto our Wait List. Should any tickets become available, individual ticket prices are $1,500 or 2 for $2,500. If you are interested in being placed on our wait list, please contact me with how many tickets you would like to be put down for. I will then be following up with those on the wait list by 9/1."

The latest McCartney mail list about new tour merchandise had "end of tour sale" as (hidden) header. Also, rumour has it John Hammel will retire at the end of the year . The end of the end?

Who could take John's place?
-
He'll find someone. It wouldn't surprise me a bit of someone has been training with him for years just for this occasion. Paul's tours aren't going anywhere...he just said it himself!

I've read the last couple of pages of this thread looking for clues for upcoming US shows, and other than PETA and previously announced shows, am seeing nothing. Am I missing something? Historically speaking, what is the minimum amount of time that Paul has ever announced a show? I remember there was 20 days before Quebec in 2008. Was it ever less than that?

Usually for a major concert date, it's at least a month in advance. For spur of the moment shows (ie: Valentines Day in NYC), it's a couple of days notice at best.

No. There are no concerts scheduled after Lolla. Supposedly, Paul wants to take a break. People are speculating that he could add shows around the PETA event, but that's just us guessing.
