I agree (with you Jessie!)
Thanks. I agree with you, too.

?Very heavy prejudice for being Asian, for being another race, and for being a woman,? she says.
I disagree. I think she gets hated for other reasons.

People don't know why they dislike Yoko other than what misinformation they've heard or read over the years. Much of it IS racist. But you can't know anything about John Lennon and separate Yoko from him. It's simple. He loved her. More than he loved The Beatles.
Nothing is ever that simple.

One of the reasons she gets hated is, for instance, the Double Fantasy album. I think most Lennon fans didn't like idea of an album alternating from John's song to Yoko's. But generally I like Madam Yoko. A kind-hearted woman. Wow! I sound like an authoritative idiot.

She didn't have to be seated beside John in the Let It Be film all the time. Seriously, I think, that made a big (negative) impression to the Beatles' fans, especially to the female fans.
What people don't seem to get, or remember, is that it was John's decision, not Yoko's. He brought her in. Cameras be damned, he was going to be with her all the time.

We get that. It was just very egocentric and rude of John to do that to his mates. Paul was madly in love with Linda, but she rarely came to the studio, and only to shoot a few photos usually.

The moron that wrote that article needs to get his facts straight! John would have been 75 on FRIDAY the 9th (not Sat. the 10th) and he was murdered on Dec. 8th (9th GMT) not the 6th! :
That's internet journalism for you.

To me - and to many Beatles fans, I think - Madam Yoko Ono is a weird lady. And John became weird ever since he was with her. But like I said, I like her. She's a beautiful person.
