WOW, I did not realize that a moped accident could cause so much damage on a person's face.
Go to any Chinese ER and you'll see much worse.
I'm sure, especially when the late great Bruce Lee was alive!!!

Does anyone else like Backbeat?
It's atmospheric and cool Is Tom Hanks' "That Thing You Do" inspired by Beatlemania? I never saw this. I know Hanks said he especially loves George Harrison.
That Thing You Do is GREAT!!! I love that movie!!! NOTE: Did you know that The Knack recorded "That Thing You Do" in the 90's?

Have seen both "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and "Backbeat". Was too young to appreciate the former at the time. I might have been so young and naïve I was expecting an appearance from the Fab Four!.... those writers went on of course to be responsible for one of the greatest films of all-time, so I do need a refresher. Was old enough to see Backbeat in the cinema. Haven't seen it since so my mind is a little hazy, but I recall Stephen Dorff being good casting. Sheryl Lee was still high on the lips because of Twin Peaks, more so Fire Walk With Me, and she's quite an underrated actress who never really caught the leap. But she seemed miscast. I recall being more than a little miffed at the depiction of John. Time I re-watched both movies, I think.

Backbeat was the first time I saw Sheryl Lee, I had a crush on her ever since.

Gary Bakewell played Paul in both Backbeat & The Linda McCartney Story.
