now now you're going to get a smack from me young man!! I'll defend Sean til my last breath - and you have to remember music is a personal choice, you don't think he's talented (*gasp*!!) and that is your right, but i do! I think his stuff is better than John's solo work in fact - there, i said it!!! Do i get a ban now?! And i do like James' stuff.. But i think it's fair to say that it is _UN_fair to compare them or anyone to the Beatles music genius.. the 4 of them were a one off, never to be repeated i don't reckon.. So be kinder to the kids!

I agree that none of the kids can even come close to the genius of Paul & John. And that's not an opinion...it's just a fact.

True dat!

The Beatles also had the luck of fate of meeting each other and being part of a phenomenon. Had John and Paul not met, then got George then Ringo, we likely would never have heard of any of them as individuals.

Steve Martin would be talking about that John painting in his living room and Paul would have started Paulie Mac and the Rolling Stones.

More likely is John would have been a truck driver, Paul a school teacher, George also a truck driver and Ringo the drummer for the Rolling Stones.

John was too lazy to be a truck driver.

I think Zak Starkey is a great drummer. He's done amazingly well. Dhani, Sean, Julian and James have carved out a ok career in music. For me Julian's early career was very good. The others I've listened to but don't care for what they are producing Kudos for even trying. They had huge shoes to fill.

I always liked Julian. Did some good stuff. The best of the Sons of Beatles. Hit the charts in a big way, considering. Has to be commended.
