Nancy R:
Such BS that he won't sign at this charity sponsored event. I get it; he doesn't sign any unless its for charity but for something 'valued' at 5k at least sign one item. If people want his signature, along with Barbara's, go to the recent auction website and his catalog book can be had for $1000 (unsigned for $300).

Here's an auction where he signed a drumhead (and Paul signed the special Rolling Stone issue about himself) http://www.examiner.com/article/beatles-memorabilia-included-2016-grammy-charity-auction

I am pretty much worn out with this lineup have seen them in 2012,2014,2015, but I am leaning towards biting the bullet and going to the Englewood show here in NJ I hope Ringo throws in something different but I know he won't
I had a conflict for the date of the Englewood show so had to scrap that one, if I go it will have to be Staten Island which has not gone onsale yet This morning I looked at TM for the Englewood show and it is already sold out so I guess I will have to make up my mind for Staten Island the day of the onsale since I am sure that will sell out too

My friend in Nashville got the exact same 5th row front & center seat she got the last time Ringo was at the Ryman!

I hear ya on getting burned out on this lineup; as great as they are sometimes a new lineup is needed for the original spirit of this concept. But going to these shows is like visiting an old out of town relative you get to see once every couple of years. So since I've seen Ringo like 7-8 times I figured I'll get cheap seats again at the box office (no fees!) and go with my mother and sister for our first concert together. The wife declined because she saw this lineup already. This past year I've aquired all the commercially available albums from Ringo that I hadn't purchased yet. He really does have a great backlog of songs that could easily constitute an Evening with Ringo Starr. But he loves taking the backseat to other musician's songs.

I decided to skip the NJ show. A bit too expensive for me and those who would have gone with me, just now. Plus, I've already seen that line-up twice, most recently just a few months ago. Ticket prices these days are a real problem: I can't convince other people to buy tickets priced at $100 and up, and I go even deeper in debt if I buy tickets for myself and as a gift for someone else. Sad.

Don't feel bad. Do what you can afford. If you don't have it, pick up the Ringo at The Ryman from 2012 on DVD. It's like 11.99 brand new.

Thanks! I'm okay with it. It just gets discouraging when no one wants to spring for tix, and I've spent a fortune buying tix for people to come with me to Paul and Ringo shows. But it's fine: now that Paul has started announcing shows again, I'll be needing that money if he comes anywhere near me!!!

Still no info on the DC show...I'm feeling a bit skeptical about this now. I had such an outstanding experience in October right here in my hometown, right up front, and Ringo even acknowledged my sign. Without meeting the man himself...how does it get much better than that?...

I made a promise to myself to see Paul or Ringo at least once a year and also it's a nice way to see new places.
