A photo posted today by Live Nation Spain, anyone know what venue is it in the background? Something that starts with "ESTAD". A photo posted today by Live Nation Spain, anyone know what venue is it in the background? Something that starts with "ESTAD".

Great!

Sunset in Madrid in June is about 21:30 so half of the show will be on a daylight? Or is it a close venue (it doesn't look like it's close). Anyone have seen Paul in a daylight concert before?

Is that very important? Be happy just he perform and you can go!

Will the show be shorter because it's an open venue?

What is this - 20 questions? Why not wait until the gig is officially confirmed and I'm sure you can work out a lot of details about the gig from then on.

If Paul does a show in Madrid, it will be a full regular concert. Seeing him in the daytime is like seeing any other person in the daytime. Same with night time. Except it's Paul McCartney!

The show in Madrid won't start before 9:30-10 pm. I saw Paul in Madrid in May 2004 and the concert started at around that time, right into the dark night

Oh great! So it will end around 1am, wow.

Yeah, Dublin '10, open-air is a no-go for me now. Seats will get a pass when it's really not possible otherwise, but seats in combination with open-air tarnishes the live atmosphere too much.

same with standing tickets? And hopefully, as ciuzo mentioned here, the show will start after the sunset.

I think standing tickets will be different and the audience will be much more hyped. And when it's a late start as it should be, don't hesitate: go! But when it isn't even fully dark during the "wall" lights for 'Band On The Run' late in the set (Central-Europe in mid-June as in Dublin then) it's really an atmosphere killer.
