Nice story! but you are wrong about the standing part; that's only in Europe/South America. For US shows, the entire floor will be seated. Unless there is something new for "One on One" And why does my brain keep seeing Denny "Seiwell" instead of "Sanford" for the arena name?

Every U.S. show I have been to, the first 20-30 rows stand pretty much the entire show. You might have some cranky people behind you, but that's been my experience. In 2014 when I was in 26th row in Fargo I stood the entire time.

NO, I think what was meant by "standing" is having a seat that you paid for but everyone is standing for the whole show.

Sorry, I guess I need more reading comprehension today, I missed that somehow.

Logged on to the presale right away and was unable to get any tickets - even 1. Frustrating.
-
MaccaFan82 I just let go of a center section row 18. Keep trying? Ticketmaster says "general admission standing" but then gives you an actual section, row, seat number...for a second I got excited it might be indoor arena GA.

A thing I wrote for the Sioux Falls paper. I talked to the facility's GM, and he said a few interesting things, including more U.S. dates are expected and how Sioux Falls (a relatively small venue) got the concert. http://www.argusleader.com/story/news/2016/03/10/premier-center-paul-mccartney-one-on-one-tour/81603256/

Surprisingly, just checked the pre-sale and quite a few tickets still left in many sections and price ranges, including 2 front row seats. Going 1 on 1 with Paul in Sioux Falls, Little Rock, Berlin and Munich...Added bonus with Bruce playing the same cities within a week or two in June!

Nice article . . .thanks for sharing. Now could you get your arena GM to take over Wells Fargo in Des Moines and get someone GOOD there? Garth Brooks and Justin Bieber just don't cut it for me (yes, I know Paul played there once before in 2005 . . . their fairly new ticketing system was kinda sucky at the time but as far as I know the show went OK!) :

I'm going! We got section C row 22 seats 3&4. My mom and I have been further back at outdoor gigs and had a great view...so we are thrilled with these. I know my mom had a really hard time getting anything to come up, but she kept trying and these were the first two tickets that popped up. The Macca countdown has begun! (Also, I can't wait to have another McCartney road trip adventure with my mom/best friend.)

Update: All seated. Now you can buy with the map option and can see it's all seated. Weird that it showed a "standing area option". Maybe they used a template from another show and didn't update it for Paul. Yep, sadly the indoor/non-festival general admission option is only available outside of the US/Canada. On the general sale now and I get the option, "general admission standing area" for $250 but also VIP seated tickets on the floor. Is it possible they're doing left side of arena sitting and right side standing? Maybe that's what the black line on the map means? Some of us boardies have discussed this - could be pretty cool I think. Edit: pulled up a hot sound seat in section C with a seat number, so maybe it's section C seated, sections A & B standing. That would up their capacity since it's a smaller arena than what Paul usually plays in the states.

I pretty sure it's completely seated situation on the floor. It has been for every McCartney show I've seen in the past 20 years. I also bought a specific floor seat close to the stage in Section B. The black line in the diagram give buyers an idea of how the rows are configured for the floor seating diagram.
