Is the 2nd Minneapolis show the last US concert for a while before South America? Dates have been added all the while and now I'm confused!

I think shows start again as soon as May 15 in SA.

Amazing how something so short (& unexpected) can get everyone excited! Come on Paul...we KNOW you can do it! Give us more! puppywhimpers...glad you got a thumbs up!
I thought it was cool but really was it that unexpected. This thread had plenty of mentions wondering if he would do something for Prince and he just did it at the end instead of with "Let Me Roll It". Yes, it would be nice if he threw in something unexpected like a different solo song - lol. If not, how about shocking us and doing "Soily" as part of the encore. I know, not going to happen - ha ha

Minnesota brings out the best in everyone. Just ask Cris Carter.

That means Mr. McCartney will have two weeks between shows, would be nice if he made a couple of song changes. IMO - Outside the US, fans at concerts seem to enjoy his solo stuff more than in the US.

LETS GO CRAZY was totally unexpected and it kicked ass! No one got called on stage. I have not listened to any periscope or YouTube for this tour but his vocals in a live setting were not bad. Exceptions were MIAM (I don't care how it sounds I am amazed each time by this song). My Valentine had a croak or two and Four Five Seconds has no place being there but he is singing it cause it was a current hit. The cool little ensemble moment that included Love Me Do was pretty good but this won't work in a stadium setting. Paul did acknowledge me after Quernie Eye and New as I was the only one up front rocking to it. He gave me a thumbs up after I did to him. That was awesome. This show works in an arena setting but the setlist is tough for stadiums. Back tomorrow for night two. Btw front row is worth it
"Paul did acknowledge me after Quernie Eye and New as I was the only one up front rocking to it. He gave me a thumbs up after I did to him. That was awesome." Fantastic. Wish there were more people like you at concerts that got into solo songs, maybe he would feel more comfortablee doing them.

Yep, I thought it was unexpected. After all most people are doing Purple Rain as a tribute.
-
It was absolutely unexpected. No question.

Failed to mention at the end of the show all the confetti was PURPLE
so cool. I love that he did Let's Go Crazy, rather than Purple Rain, which so many have done. Great audience reaction, great surprise in the show. Very nice tribute.

It was the WAY he did it that was unexpected. He talked about Prince at the end of Let Me Roll It so we thought that was his "tribute." Then sneaking the song into the ending of Hi Hi Hi was a *total* surprise.

The pretty dark haired girl rockin' out starting at about :29 is from Albuquerque, she is a friend and comes to our gigs regularly! She clearly had a blast!

I think we've just found the vehicle to get Macca to FINALLY play your town again.

___________________________________________________ RMartinez, I'll fly to Albuquerque (from the East Coast) to see one of your gigs if you promise me she will be there. OMG

Yeah, she is something else. And a PAUL fan to boot! Last night was her fourth McCartney concert, God bless her!

My question for tonight's final Minneapolis show: Question # 1 Will Paul and Band play the same Prince song tonight as a tribute and in the same spot ?(at the end of Hi-Hi-Hi) Question #2 Do you think Paul will do a better job than last night (He seemed a little off as far as singing the song...as if he was unsure of the song or he didn't know the song real well) My comments above withstanding I did think it was heartfelt and what Paul said had a lot of class.

Soundcheck setlist yet?

What's up with the audio though. C'mon guys... Get your USB stick, get the .WAV from the gig from the board, fly it in under your montage... Fan videos on YouTube are more professional than this.
