For those of you under the age of 30, can you tell us what those circular discs were called, and what that strange object on the bottom left is?
Those are extra large CDs. Back in the olden days, you guys had floppy CDs. They had so little memory that they could only hold 2 songs, so people called them "singles". And you had to use 32 bit computers plugged into the phone line. Crazy. The thing on the bottom left looks like a plate with a spoon on it.

This was one of the pictures on the giant screen during "Something" at the Tokyo Dome concert.

I have absolutely no idea when this picture was taken.

I'm going to take a wild guess about the strange object at bottom left.... I'm going to guess that's a warming plate that Yoko would bring to the studio , to keep her lunch warm so she wouldn't have to leave John's side for one second ;)... or on closer inspection, maybe it's just a plate with a bowl and spoon... with wires from a speaker underneath... again, probably Yoko had soup for lunch that day, so she didn't have to leave the studio )

Nancy those things aren't old enough yet OR you need 10year olds to answer the question. And I bet she was going after the corded phone.

All 20somethings know what phones used to look like. Maybe in 10 or 20 years.

It was a great show. I saw one of the Youtube videos, but the cell phone sound quality was terrible compared to being there, of course.

Yes, I was going for the corded phone with the old dialer on it. I was being facetious.

Hey I have one of those in the basement. It has a real loud ringer on it. I don't use it except for the ringer.
