I just got a new Beatles book. It's called Lennon Revealed by Larry Kane, who's written another Beatles book, Ticket To Ride: Inside The Beatles' 1964 Tour That Changed The World which is based on his experience with The Beatles. It's a very good book and begins with the end, I must admit - it's tragic. Here's the line that struck me the most: "Somewhere between The Hit Factory and my arrival in San Fransisco, John stopped breathing". It also comes with a DVD, which includes a 1968 interview with Paul and John (the last I might add), John broadcasting the weather on WPVI-TV in Philadelphia and an interview the author, Larry Kane. My only complaint about the DVD is that the 3 parts of the DVD are not divided into chapters, so I can't skip to the 1968 interview, I have watch it all or try to find it myself by fast forwarding. Overall, it's great. I haven't it read it all, but I plan on doing so.

YOU GUYS ARE SICK...SICK I TELL YOU. Just kidding.
Here's the Hard Rock Vault in Orlando. You guys may want to ask your spouses for a drool napkin. Also, I don't know about you, but I had NO idea that Good Day Sunshine was actually written ON an actual Corn Flakes box. Who knew!!Holy Cow! Thanks for sharing that.

Yea..my hubby got home from Mexico last night and finally he has started bringing me stuff I want!! He brought me a John Lennon cd..kind of a greatest hits**(sorry it's a bootleg)..and also a great Beatles cd..26 tracks, some really old stuff!(again sorry, it's a** bootleg) but it's the thought, right?
Just wondering why you are saying that you are sorry? What? We can't collect boots? Man...I wish you woulda told me that years ago!
Some people get a bit irate about bootlegs....
Some of the boots are great. Most of the material on Beatles Live at the BBC and the Anthology CD's was only found on bootlegs before 1994, and John Lennon had a collection of them. I collected some wonderful ones, especially a colored psychedelic vinyl of The Beatles at Budokan in Tokyo, 1966 that I gave to my son. An amazing album soundboard recording! You just can't sell or trade 'em openly.

I was just wondering what is the best memorabilia item in your Beatles collection. I'm told most of the autographs available are fake. Do you know of anyone who has a "real" Beatles signed album that has been fully certified? That would be my dream item. So many fakes out there , how do you know what is real ? Mike from USA Michigan
you must do your homework....and if appears to good to be true (price-wise)...it probably is a fake. go here to do your homnework http://www.beatlesautographs.com/investing.htm most of my beatles autographs are from "legitimate" auction houses! .....if you check my profile you'll see how many of each individual autograph I have....i have yet to secure an autograph with all four Beatles names on it!.... ...i hope to one day. GOOD LUCK!
