I post this without comment as it speaks for itself!
I guess/hope the rest is coming on later!I have watched it today....anyone who votes for him is thick....which is clearly part of the problem here. One thing i said before the show came on....and the racist did mention it.....Jack Straw is giving it large , yet his party have killed nearly a million innocent Muslims in Iraq. They have also helped instill in the thickoes heads that Muslims are not to be trusted. Straw also brought up , about banning the veil. I hate griffen and all he stands for but i think straw is a hypocrite. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_debate_over_veils I was more impressed with the two ladies on the pannel ...they both talked sense, and straight to the point [/img]
That's true! I have to admit I'm not too familiar with the every day politics in GB or this particular TV format (I went looking for it on youtube because it went through the media how terrible it was with Griffin)! Anyway, what really impressed me when I compare it with a similar format and the politicans in my country, I was actually amazed how well they are expressing themselves (except Griffin)! Whether I agree with what they were saying or not, they were making a point and they tried to get it across and they were actually forming straight sentences! Our politicans aren't even able to do that!
Wait untill jacqui smith comes on next weeks ops: She can talk all day ...WITHOUT actually saying anything I see the queens not happy at the bnp saying it would be the party for Churchill if he was alive. IT IS a disgraceful slur on the great man , and goes against everything he stood for in the fight against facsism. I couldnt help wondering if the bnp was the party for the queens husband to join : Mind you philips not racist : hes a 'colourful eccentric' and ' a character'.....anyone else would be a racist bigot :
But don't you need to be actually born in GB to become a member of the party or is the rule "just": white, aryan and british!? This is so disgusting!
-
Its saying that up to 22% MAY vote bnp after question time the other night. I know most of the British are thick as pigshit....but i dont believe this for a second. Maybe some of the interbred farmers in burnley , blackburn and oldham may..........but 22% i am not having that. It was mentioned on question time.......many people have voted for them because the tories and new labour are the same. I have said on here in the past , that i have NO-ONE to vote for, so i will spoil my paper....some ejits will vote bnp as a protest against the other parties.

Oh yes, I wanted to mention that as well! They seem to say the same thing everywhere! Also here they say that the people are just crossing the box for the right wing parties out of protest because the politics of the social democrats and the people's party and the greens is weak! But in my opinion there is no such thing as an unpolitical "protest voter"! I also think that the politics of the other parties are weak but never in my wildest dreams I could imagine crossing the box for one of the right wing parties! And we have them in the parliament and we've had them in the government and my fear is that the mare of Vienna is going to be someone next year who could be Griffin's little brother! I'm prepared for EU-sanctions against Austria once again!

Ever-Present Surveillance Rankles the British Public By SARAH LYALL Published: October 24, 2009 POOLE, England ? It has become commonplace to call Britain a ?surveillance society,? a place where security cameras lurk at every corner, giant databases keep track of intimate personal details and the government has extraordinary powers to intrude into citizens? lives. ... The whole process is so shrouded in mystery that few people ever take it this far. ?Because no one knows you have a right to know you?re under surveillance,? Ms. Paton said, ?nobody ever makes a complaint.? complete article: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/25/world/europe/25surveillance.html?_r=1

I went watching this film at the pictures a couple of years ago : Trailer
The full film is on youtube. bush and blair have used terrorism as a excuse to nibble away at our civil liberties. It will be a absolute disgrace if blair is put in charge of the EU -
Fox entertainment is catering to dumb and dumber. If their viewers watched a real news show like Dylan Ratigan, their pea brains would explode trying to figure out all the big 5 letter words. They need to do away with Rupert Billy Bob Murdock and his back woods network.

on a lighter side ... November 04, 2009 2:16 PM by Mark Murray From NBC's Madeline Rullo At House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's weekly briefing today, she commented on last night's (Nov. 3rd) elections, simply stating, "We won last night." "Yes, and scientists have also discovered that botox injections cause delusions." ~ Jay Leno

Here is what american politics has come too. Take a look at Sarah Palin book signing and the bright bunch supporting her. These are the electors of Bush and supporter of Fox entertainment and drive the other side crazy with disblief.
-
Interesting that the extreme left is fixated on Palin as she is unlikely to receive the nomination in 2012. Just in case people have forgotten....Bush is no longer in office.

Ahh, the insightful musings of the right! Pt 1: Palin is getting as much press from Limbaugh and Fox News as she is from the so-called extreme left wing. Pt 2: Palin is the one with a book out going from town to town trying to sell it. Pt 3: Fox News is the only main so-called news channel to whom Palin has given an "interview". Pt 4: Palin has been leading the pack of prospective nominees on the Republican side in many polls. Pt 5: Erm, yeah, Bush is out of office. If people think he's still in office, why is the left focusing on Palin and not Bush? Your statement is based on multiple falsehoods, topped by pt 5, which is based on zero logic.

Let's finish the telling of it shall we? Most of the biggest things Obama has been trying to do and been unable have been due to opposition from conservatives from both parties. Your side has sacrificed honesty and what is best for ordinary people at every step of the way to stop Obama. His failure to close Guantanamo so far, to get health care passed so far, etc., are all markers of your success. So don't make fun of him. Instead, congratulate yourselves.

Seems more likely that campaigning is easier than governing. Obama's party has control of both the house and senate, unlike Clinton who had a republican congress to deal with, yet he was still able to get some things done. I've said a number of times here that being conservative does not equal "republican", while liberal doesn't mean "democrat". Obama has weak leaders in the congress who are unable to deliver.....hint: they're both democrats and Obama is the head of the party, so get rid of 'em if they can't deliver for you. btw, presidents have taken a more active role in legislation before, why not now?? Johnson didn't sit out on the sidelines while trying to get civil rights and medicare/medicaid through congress. Go ahead and google that one
