Anyone know at what point in the show he responds to the signs? He always seems to have a time set after a particular song. Just wonderin' which song on this tour. :
During the "let me drink this in" bit, we all held up our signs, but yeah, he only read 2 in Memphis (one from the gal right in front of me! You know who you are you lucky girl!!)
which 2?
"Paul please read my sign" and "Paul, I've missed you!" (he had a little conversation with this lucky woman!)
That's right, how could I forget, there both great, but please read my sign was pretty funny!

No, we need a sign that says, "We're so sorry....you didn't play Uncle Albert."
I kept yelling for Uncle Albert on Mondays sound check...

I think "please read my sign" is the Best. Sign. Ever.

This..I think is the only place to catch him. https://maps.google.com/?ll=39.765303,-86.154592&spn=0.000033,0.013518&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cbll=39.764714,-86.154613&panoid=8m9ynzkzRVTk8ufJp_lfHQ&cbp=12,280.71,,0,-1.14 That's in Indy, ya know?
Not showing up for me--what was it?
Sorry..It's the entrance to the underground garage at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where Paul is set to perform in Indy on July 14th!! It's around the back in this pic.
Are you going to be there Liverpoolbride? Maybe we'll see you! We'll be getting to our hotel pretty early and it's close to the arena, so I think we'll wander down and see what's going on.
YES, we're going to be there for the "limo watch" and we are getting there in plenty of time to take pics on the mock up of Abbey Road..
What time do you think people will start showing up? I think we can check into our hotel at 2 and we have nothing to do until the concert. My daughter really wants to do this.
-
I'm not sure about "other people" but me and my daughter will be there early (I don't want a crowd) so we can get some good pics!!
-
When I went to a Paul concert, my sign said "you can drive my car!" It wasn't meant to be anything more than a song reference (my brother took it the wrong way). But Paul noticed it and did a steering wheel motion towards me
-
this was my sign in Montreal in 2011 , I was 7th row (aisle seat) and it worked ! He saw me at the very beginning on the show, he pointed at me with a smile. At the first encore 4-5 people went up on stage (not me..)
At the second encore he saw me again and asked his guitar technician (sorry I don't remember his name) to bring me up on stage.I believe originality is key. Good luck y'all !
-
I’ll hold up a sign that reads “Follow me”
man that that would be great lyrics for a song...
-
I have an idea for my sign. Paul said my username back in May 2010 when he did that webchat, so I will use my username maccasfangirl30 on my sign, and think of a clever message that he might notice! Maybe I will use a few words from his songs or a Beatles song that he may say something about it. If that works to get me on stage to meet him I would be set for life!

I wanna know how people have gotten on stage multiple times! I've been trying for what will be my 6th attempt next summer and have had zero luck. That's with 3 out of those 5 attempts being in the VIP area too. What am I doing wrong y'all?

If you are a young cute female, sitting in an aisle seat, around rows 8 or so, you have a much better chance. When you are too close and in the middle, it isn’t easy for security to get you because the middle aisle ends at row 5 and you are boxed in. That’s how it was for me 3 times. Plus, nobody was called up at ANY of the soundchecks! I’ve given up. Will see him in Greenville, but we aren’t on the floor.

My son and I were extremely lucky to have been called up by Paul twice!!
-
Im not sure I can afford to get a floor seat close enough for him to see my sign. Im taking three people with me to see Paul unless they help chip in for tickets. I told them I want a closer spot and I do not want upper deck like the last time I saw him.
Floor seats are normally what $ 700 or more?
-
In order to get a close enough seat to get called up, you will have to pay $700 for Gold VIP or spring for the Hot Sound Package which is still $1600 I believe. Maybe the floor Gold VIP are more than $700. I don’t know. (To quote Paul)
-
Thanks for the heads up. I might be able to afford the $700 ones I cannot afford $1600 for four people to come with me. I hope I will have enough saved up by the time he adds L.A It will take me at least two or three paychecks to save up lol

Is row 21 too far back to have a sign?
-
I am in Section F row 17 Im concerned I might be too far back for a sign.

No, but he is barely acknowledging them and did not call anyone up on stage in Greenville during the regular concert. Not sure about soundcheck.

Yes, too far back. ️
