As long as McCartney performs live, I will want him to perform more of his fantastic music!
A bunch of us do but we have come to understand it is not going to happen !!

Maybe not, but as long as he performs live, I will continue to ask and keep hope alive!

Well, we're getting closer to the start of a new tour for Paul.
I made a list about what I think Paul is going to change from last year.
The list is the songs I suppose he will change, and not what I'd like him to do. Just for fun
--------------------------------------------------------------------
1. A Hard Day's Night
2. Junior's Farm/Save Us
3. Can't Buy Me Love
4. Letting Go/Jet
5. All My Loving/Drive My Car/Got To Get You Into My Life
6. Let Me Roll It
7. I've Got a Feeling
8. My Valentine
9. Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five
10. Maybe I'm Amazed
11. I've Just Seen a Face/ We Can Work It Out
12. In Spite of All the Danger
13. You Won't See Me
14. Love Me Do
15. And I Love Her
16. Blackbird
17. Here Today
18. Queenie Eye
19. New
20. Lady Madonna
21. FourFiveSeconds
22. Eleanor Rigby
23. I Wanna Be Your Man
24. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!
25. Something
26. A Day in the Life
27. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
28. Band on the Run
29. Back in the U.S.S.R.
30. Let It Be
31. Live and Let Die
32. Hey JudeEncore:
33. Yesterday
34. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
35. Helter Skelter
36. Birthday
38. Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End
---------------------------------------------------------------------Not too many changes, and respecting almost the entire last hour of the show.
We'll get to hear 3 o 4 songs from the new album.
Some lazy movement, bringing back 2 o 3 songs from previous tours (candidates: Another Girl, The Night Before, Your Mother Should, Lovely Rita, Listen To What The Man Said, Paperback Writer)
1 or 2 songs that he has never done (apart from the new ones, of course).

He needs to take out Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite! and replace it with another John song!!

Agree! But I have the feeling that he is totally in love with the lasers, and stuff that they put on Mr Kite. And to show off that fantastic bass line, makes you realise what kind of performer you're watching
But yes, it's been on the setlist since 2013, it's time to replace it now

I agree with YankeeFan2. People get upset with Paul doing John songs...not me necessarily but others were complaining about it. I would rather he replace it with his own solo songs. I am even tired of Here Today.

I agree, I think the song "Early Days" would be a nice replacement for "Here Today"

You know Paul, though, I doubt he will ever drop Here Today. Like he will never drop Hey Jude.

I understand "Hey Jude" because if it is the first time you see him that is probably on your must hear list plus it is great sing along for the crowd. Even to this day, I doubt many first timers know the song "Here Today" so it would not be a big deal to them if he dedicated song like "Early Days" to John instead of "Here Today". Will he drop either one, the answer is heck no - lol.

It’s amazing to me that he has been touring as Wings and then a “solo” act with a band since the early 1970s and there are STILL people who have never seen him in concert!

I guess it depends on where you live and sometimes age. My wife and I took our daughters to see him in 2010 because they had never seen him, they were in their early 20's at the time.
-
At this point how many people at the shows have NOT seen him before. Especially in the US. He tours pratically every year, for the last several years.
What is the % of the crowd who hasn't seen him at this point. I've seen him 16-17 times since '93. I know that isn't a lot compared to some of you, but most people who are sitting me around have seen him in the past based on conversations I've had over the years.
I don't think "Here Today" is necessary anymore (or any other tributes)since he's been doing it since 2002. What I'd like to see on the new tour.
1. New album song
2. I Saw Her Standing There
3.Penny Lane
4. Mrs. Vanderbilt
5.New Song
6.Hi Hi HI
7. Silly Love Songs
8.Drive My Car
9.Let Em In
10.New Song
11.Cant Buy Me Love
12.And I Love Her
13.Put It There
14.PS. I Love You
15.Martha My Dear
16.You Never Give Me Your Money
17.Band On The Run
18.Get Back
19.New Song
20.Getting Better
21.BlackBird
22.Mother Natures Son.
23. Back In the USSR
24.Sgt Pepper/Reprise
25.Live and Let Die
25.Let It Be
26.Hey Jude
27. Yesterday
28.Jet
29.Too many People
30.Golden Slumbers
31.Carry That Weight
32. The End
I dont see how anybody could be disappointed with these selections. Still tons of hits, plus a few nuggets. It doesn't have to be in that exact order obviously.

Yeah, I understand that situation, but there are tons of people who are in their 40s, 50s and 60s who have never seen him. One of the surgeons I know who is my age saw him for the first time in Duluth, GA 2017! (Age 62 then) She said it was on her bucket list. Another surgeon was there the same night (she’s probably in her late 40s or so) seeing him for the first time, and she sprung for front row seat package!

I'm sorry but who cares about these people that never took the time to see him. I'm tired of Paul catering to them with his setlist. About time he played more of the songs the rest of his FANS want to hear. As I've said all along especially when he does 2 nights in one city. Do the regular show one night but the 2nd night do mostly solo songs!

As I said before, all he has to do is rebrand the sound checks as “Solo Only” events. He can double the seating to make up the costs. He would have his most rabid fans at the sound checks instead of his richest ones. He and the band would love it.

Do the regular show one night but the 2nd night do mostly solo songs!
except he's not looking to put work into learning another set. This is a working soundcheck, that fans are able to attend is a bonus for fans. His soundchecks are old covers, songs he has played on tour and songs currently in the set. It is all stuff he knows pretty much by heart, it's purpose is just to test all the instrument and mic sound levels in the mix not really to be a show unto itself. I don't foresee this ever happening
