It looks like George is saying something about John's smack being good sh*t! I don't think that George would be smiling if John smelled like sh*t!
However, I'm beginning to believe that whatever George is saying, it is in reference to the reverb which is the distortion in the guitar sound.
I think it's it's he sounds like sh!t.
I think you’ve got it oobu! “John sounds like shit!”
Leslie! Are you serious?! There are only 4 words.
OMG! I went back and looked at it twice and it DOES look like he says “Just imagine it’s sex!”
I would love to be able to show Paul that video and ask him if he remembers what George said (doubtful he would), then tell him what I think he said!
(Phew!! wiping forehead ) Glad you were able to see what I thought it was
In extremely slow motion it looks like he's saying "Try to imagine it's sex". I think he was just "feeling the music" and saying something offhand that he was thinking while they were playing.
From the happy and mellow smile on George's face after saying that, and all the panting and "All rights" the band did at the end of the song, I'd say the thought of sex could have been an influence on how the song was performed, but "Revolution" is definitely not a song ABOUT sex.

You and me both, sister! He looks totally gorgeous here! Have always loved this video. It was filmed in the fall of 1968... had Linda moved in with him yet, or was this just before that?

Thanks for posting this, jl4761! Love John's hair in this, it was a good style for him.. just the right length. And Paul looks so cute of course... would like to know what skin care system he used, his skin looks so clean, and bright here.

A lot of people are not going to believe this but I have JAILHOUSE ROCK, the 1956 ELVIS PRESLEY classic, in colorization! IT LOOKS FANTASTIC!

It was before she arrived. Filmed Sept. 4, 1968. Linda arrived around the 15th. Either just before or right after this filming, Paul spent a few days “somewhere warm” with Maggie McGivern. (If I was with Paul, ANYWHERE would be warm!)

Yes, he's always been smokin' hot Seriously though, when Linda moved in, he left his bachelor days behind.. she truly was his one and only after that.
Love this official video of "Hey Bulldog" - glad they put it back in the restored version of Yellow Submarine (read that it had been cut for the first release).
