On a related topic, Ringo officially postponed his 2020 Spring Tour in the U.S. to 2021...some new dates have already been announced.
Maybe Paul is waiting until they have rescheduled dates in place before announcing postponement (did I post this already? )
that makes things less vague. I think the Stones just announced postponement but no new dates yet.

I bet he'll reschedule the whole tour to June 2021, ending at Glastonbury as he would have done this year.
I just hope they will offer a real refund to those who can't make it to the rescheduled concerts. A voucher is not a real refund.

Just been reading this article saying "Jackie Lombard, producer of the three stadiums that Paul McCartney was to complete in May in Paris and Lille, and early June in Lyon. I am trying to postpone these concerts in June knowing that the insurance companies can reimburse the cancellation costs. But if the ban is now limited to April 15, insurance will no longer work. So, I will have to try to maintain the original dates. "
It's from Googletranslate which might be a bit confusing from translation but the gist of it. I'd admit that I at first wasn't too concerned about it due to my initial ignorance but now it's got to be postponed for a while with the safety of attendees & also considering the McCartney fan base tend to travel to various countries & who knows about flight restrictions. Hopefully new dates are announced soon & we can all attend the new shows.

That article is from March 7, I think the global perspective has changed a lot since then, this tour won't happen at least this year.
I agree with 5th-beatle, I think Paul will play in Glastonbury 50th edition next year and move all these dates around that event.

First I lost my Flybe return flight from Paris to Manchester. Now Easyjet have Grounded their fleet for the next 2 months so there is no way I could get there now (Not that I would go anyway now in May). Just Cancel Paul. No vouchers etc I need a refund now due to losing my job and not having any income and running low on savings.

When the postponed dates for 2021 are finalised, the tickets should be value for the to be announced 2021 dates. Some ticket handlers will have the option to get a full refund, and I hope that will be the case for you.

I've only paid the reservation fee of 200 pounds at event travel for Lucca concert should I wait as long as possible or should I pay the full sum to be sure to get some kind of refund?

The current law who forbids events in Italy is until April 3rd, friday*. My opinion is: if possible, wait until friday because the law can extend more 15 days or 1 month, for example. I don't know. =/

We may not have had any posts from Paul about the tour but we've just had an April Fools post 🤪🤪
This is the only show out of all the shows that I had planned from now until the end of May where nothing has been said at all. Pretty shambolic

So France has officially banned large gatherings until Mid-July. Does anyone know when we'll get an announcement on new dates? Most of the dates can't even happen due to government guidelines now
-
I am getting more and more surprised that there is no news regarding at least the early tour dates. I have tickets to Lille but with France lockdown until 11th may at least even if the lockdown is lifted then it is unlikely that mass gathering will be immediately allowed.
Anybody heard anything?

Paul called in to the Howard Stern program this morning...mentions the postponed European tour among other things...enjoy!!Very disappointing, Mr Liverani.

Still no news. I just need my cash back now as all my flights have been cancelled. Poor this no communication even if they are trying to reschedule everything.

Yeah I don't know why they can't just officially declare it postponed. It's what The Who did for the UK tour that was meant to happen in March. Really bad that tickets are still for sale

What happens if borders aren't opened yet and shows are allowed again? Many many people travel from abroad to see Paul. Management is being super inconsiderarte with ticket holders.

I agree. An announcement MUST be made soon, it is even worse that tickets are still being sold, unless the message is that these events will go ahead, irrespective of the law and regulations.

If it is postponed and not cancelled, will it be possible to still apply for a refund as I'm not going to go to the rescheduled date as I have already lost money due to my flight company going bust and lost my job so I desperately need cash at the moment as my savings pot is nearly zero.

Just been given an email from EasyJet saying that my flight isn't cancelled but I can reschedule to another flight for free or take a voucher. It's only valid until 1st May so a new date would be great so I can reschedule it all. What do you guys think I should do?

Could you reschedule for the first weekend in September, just so you can give them a date, and then reschedule again later (when the correct date is announced) ?
