Nice. The 1976 law. I see MPL is quickly updating it accordingly https://www.mplcommunications.com/music-search
'Can't Buy Me Love' should be up next.
As side note: 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S. I Love You' were never part of the ATV-deal, and MPL already owned those. I think 'Please Please Me' and 'Ask Me Why' were also part of some other deal.
Love Me Do and PS I Love You were owned by Ardmore Beechwood, later, Beechwood Music, both owned by EMI. MPL owned the copyrights since 1978.
Please Please Me, Ask Me Why: Richard James (not allowed to say the D-word) Music owned by Universal Music.
Lenono (Yoko, Julian and Sean) owned some of the early Lennon/McCartney songs because of John Lennon's death, before McCartney received ownership after 2018 of songs other than Love Me Do and PS I Love You.
other involvements were Gil Music, Duchess Music (Universal), Metric Music, UnArt Music (United Artists Music owned by EMI) and Len-Mac Enterprise. The EMI ownership is Sony/ATV since 2009 after Michael Jackson's passing.
I'm waiting for ownership of "Yesterday." 14% is rubbish.
Is Julian Lennon part of LENONO?
This says it's owned by John & Yoko, but since his death she inherited it and of course it will go to Sean when she dies. I doubt Julian will get a dime.
Julian is mentioned as a copyright holder in the earlier Lennon McCartney songs decades before Paul started owning songs like "Please Please Me."

Print editions of music sheets from 20 to 25 years ago. Maybe 30 years ago. And past interviews. It's current to this day. Julian also hired administrator to over look his shares of his father songs and recordings.

The Rest of the Lennon/McCartney "HELP!" songs including YESTERDAY (14%, RUBBISH!) coming soon.
Also "I'M DOWN" is missing.
62 songs -- Not counting the duplicates - Originally 65 - The dups are "Ringo's Theme" which is "This Boy" and the two songs McCartney combined into one "PS Love Me Do" (Love Me Do & PS I Love You).
-
Jimmix, when you say "14%, RUBBISH" do you mean Paul only gets 14% of Yesterday? Or that they have only gotten back 14% of the Help! songs?

Also coming back in the June-August time frame, in addition to the rest of the songs on the both the US and UK "Help!" albums and "I'm Down", will be "That Means a Lot". And some more duplicates will be reverting during this period as well: "Auntie Gin's Theme (duplicate of "I've Just Seen a Face"), "Scrambled Egg" (duplicate of "Yesterday"), and "That's a Nice Hat" (duplicate of "It's Only Love").

According to the print edition of THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY by The Beatles. He makes 14% off of YESTERDAY. when he gets back the song, Macca will make 50% off the song! Pub rights and writing with Lennon estate. And any other deductions authozed by MPL and Lenono like Kobalt and who's ever watching over Lenono and Lensolos---probably Downtown Music, NY
