Wonder why he removed the OPP patch?

I wonder if it was "airbrushed" out in some photos, following all the Paul is Dead rumors, when some people were saying the OPP patch was a clue? Perhaps Paul and the Beatles didn't want to encourage the rumors.
It could also be that the patch was removed before filming the "Hello Goodbye" video. We'll have to look at that video and check other photos to see if it was there.

I think he just removed the patch for some reason. Maybe it was only stuck on temporarily.
The PIDers were incorrectly saying it was OPD which to them meant "officially pronounced dead." Of course it is OPP for Ontario Provincial Police.

Circa 1947. Same blond girl in both photos.

Aunt Milly on far left. 1969.

Since mostly Paul is seen here, that's why I decided to post it here. Never saw this color footage of them (and Mal Evans) at JFK airport May 15, 1968.

Lovely family photo from middle of March with Linda displaying her wedding ring. No sign of an engagement ring though.

She never got one. In fact, I think that could have been the reason for their fight 2 nights before the wedding - Paul was supposed to buy a wedding band for her and had forgotten. She never wanted an engagement ring, plus they only really decided to get married about 2 weeks before they did.
Doubt photo is from March! More like late spring or summer since Paul has his shirt off.

Thanks for the info, that explains the absense of the engagement ring.
Following their wedding, the Macs spent a few days in Liverpool before heading to the US for their honeymoon. The photo could have been taken on a later visit but its more likely it was during that March visit. We do have unpredictable weather in the UK, I've been on holiday in late November wearing a t-shirt for example.

I read earlier that it was Easter, which in 1969 was Apr. 6th for Catholics and Apr. 13th for Orthodox. Whatever that means!
