Where's Paul been lately?

This was virtually the 60th anniversary of his first ever flight, when he was deported (with Pete Best) and flew from Hamburg to London on 1st December 1960.

I think the Daily Mail has got it wrong again. I think he was arriving at JFK airport on November 30 to take a flight FROM New York to England. In recent interviews he's given (within the last few weeks), he's stated he was currently in New York. Wouldn't it be nice if he made the trip to NY to film something special for either Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, etc., in relation to promotion for the upcoming McCartney III?

I was thinking the same thing!

I agree, that would be nice! There's been a lot of written interviews and some audio stuff, but it would be nice to see him talk about the album on a video/tv (virtual) setting too.

Coming or going it doesn't really matter. He should be practicing what he preaches & get his carbon footprint size down, especially during a pandemic.

But if he's on a commercial flight, the plane would be flying anyway, and making a carbon footprint whether he was on it or not. I understand what you're saying though, because if people chose not to fly, there would be fewer flights, and less harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
I don't want to misjudge him for traveling a lot at this time but can't help being concerned for him that traveling would put him at greater risk of being exposed to the Covid virus. Staying isolated at home, as much as possible, reduces the risk.

On Virgin Atlantic they allow you to pay your carbon footprint. It's under $20 however, it may have changed with the empty planes.
Lady Leslie, if you wear a N95 mask (they call it a respirator) and wear a shield, you should be OK. Does Paul have a plane or maybe it's only for tours. First Class seems to be filled on flights I've checked.

Thanks, L2T, didn't know that about the N95 masks. I don't think Paul owns his own plane, but maybe someone else knows. Seems like he usually flies commercial (or perhaps charters a commercial plane) when he travels to concerts.

I have no real info but I always thought Paul flew 1st class, commercial (remember when he bumped into Rihanna?) And I've never seen him wearing an N-95 mask (or a shield either), just cloth or paper masks (the light blue ones)

Doesn't he go to St. Barts every year around this time of year? Anyway, I have been there once and it is incredibly beautiful and quiet.

That's great you've been able to travel there! Yes it seems like every year Paul and family go to St. Barts between Christmas and New Years. Not sure if the rest of the family will be there this year, but in the past he's been able to spend time over the holidays with Mary and Stella and their husbands and his grandchildren. (This photo was taken a few years ago.)
