This was taken by Linda, have never seen it before. It's such a precious photo.
Paul with Stella? I'm just basing that on Paul's sidies?
Here's a photo taken when Stella was born. He had sideburns (do you call them sideboards in England?) when both of his daughters were born, but I was thinking the photo I posted was of Paul with baby Mary.
Sideburns and sideboards are both commonly used here in the UK I believe.
Incidentally, I couldn't see the photo either although Nancy can apparently.
This is the photo: (my copy - hers was larger and lighter)

Leslie, did you mean you thought this was with Mary? I think it may be Stella.

Sorry the other photo wasn't showing up! Yes, that photo of Paul with his eyes closed is the one I meant, in thinking the baby he's holding is Mary.
This is the original link to the photo, which indicates it was taken in 1969, and that it's Mary.
A vintage black and white snapshot photograph of Paul McCartney and Mary McCartney that was taken by Linda McCartney in 1969. The photograph comes from the collection of Paul and Linda’s former housekeeper Rose Martin. The photograph measures 12.75cm x 9cm (5 inches x 3.5 inches). The condition is excellent.

So it IS Mary! She and Stella looked a lot alike at birth.

This is Stella? There was a photo in one of Linda’s books of photos, of a little girl who had a handbag with all cloth strips put on her head like a wig. This little girl looks like that photo of the girl. I always assumed it was the daughter of a guest visiting. Have to find that book! I suppose it’s difficult to figure out who people in photos are, you see that all the time. Poor Julian tho, he does seem to be overlooked so often.

That is Stella in the photos. She posted that top photo on Instagram for Father's Day about 4 years ago.

Linda did take so many beautiful family photos! It's wonderful you've been able to see one of her photo exhibits! Wish it were possible to have some in the U.S. 0ver the last several years it seems like they've only been held in the U.K. and Europe.

Thanks, Love2Travel! I remember Mary having an exhibit with her mother's photos, but I think that was a different exhibition in Europe a few years ago. I'm glad they were able to have an exhibit in NYC. Were you able to go to that one at the Gagosian?
