What happened to WINGSPAN?

I am so excited! There are so many Beatles documentaries. The Wings/70s era is always overlooked. Even in Mccartney 321! Wingspan is good but leaves out Denny ALOT.
Who does not want to see some more of 76 Paul? -

Paul on his way to his vocal peak. And leading to a moment where he went through so much doubt, before emerging as a giant. Again. I'm looking forward to it. And I do hope Denny is shown some appreciation. It don't get much better than Wings Over America... ps. I just love that jacket (or whatever it was) Paul wore. Iconic.

LIB is my fave Beatles film by a long country mile. Love Wings Over America. Love the Wings Over The World, documentary too. Recorded it first on Betamax. Then when Betamax died, I had it transferred on to VHS. Sadly that's where it rests to this day. Too scared to transfer stuff now in case the format becomes obsolete️ sadly everything will be available only on a "cloud" eventually. No actual collection's of stuff on your shelf, neat and tidy, to gaze at :::sigh:worried::::

Beta versus VHS.... I remember when I was a kid we bought a Beta recorder... we were one of the first on the block... It got quickly usurped by VHS... I never understood... Beta was smaller and better... I think it was from Sony?... But then VHS swarmed it. Clunky recorders... All the videos we rented from the store were all of a sudden VHS... Our Beta recorder was rendered obsolete... Beta seemed more of a superior version?.... the forefront? But it got swamped by VHS... impossible to rent anything on Beta.... VHS was KING!.... I think my memory is good? I could be wrong....

The outfit... the voice... peak Paul.,,, along with Let it Be.. just, so on top of his game... He just blew it away with Wings Over America. The peak. Although, arguably, Mull of Kintyre.... just nailed his peak. Never got the due recognition. Not in the US..... But I think that was his peak moment. Just a wonderful song. The peak.... Mull of Kintyre.

I live here in London. You are telling my story, pretty much exactly lol!! Maybe tomorrow ( maybe not) I'm going to take a wanderer down to Abbey Road Studios and take a few photos. I'm sure my dear friend lilwillow will post them here somewhere, if I ask her nicely.

You’re correct that VHS overtook Betamax, but my first VCR was made by Sony and cost a whopping $500 in 1983! All 3 of my blu-ray players and TVs are Sony as well.
P.S. I still have 3 working VCRs!
