Europe 2024
-
Any news about a got back leg tour in europe next year? Except for eventtravel page for notification and some rumors about an italian date in lucca one (or more?) in germany, everything is quite.
-
@simoange95 it's official !!
-
@simoange95 Et en France...
Il devait venir en 2020... Va t-il reporter ses dates Européennes en 2024.. Ou Got Back.. C'est vraiment fini... 🥲
Si Oui. J'espère qu'il fera un nouvel opus.. + tournée.. (La dernière sûrement..) 🥲 -
@rondos No where is this "official".
-
it says so on the site :
It's now official: Paul McCartney will be the world star who will perform in the concert on the walls of the walls, at the former Campo Balilla, inaugurating the next edition of the Lucca Summer Festival.
-
@rondos That is on a hotel website. Please post if you have any official word from Lucca festival or Paul's website. There is nothing official on the Lucca festival site or Paul McCartney.com yet unfortunately that I can see! I hope I am wrong but until it is announced on Paul website we have to wait. And, sadly, after the legal fiasco of getting refunds from Ticketone.it and the scam promoter of the canceled 2020 shows, I will not even consider giving them my money ever again!

Clutching at straws but
Here in Ireland there is a Croke Park concert TBA for August 2024 but current rumour is its either AC/DC or The Rolling Stones but never know if could be Macca
Attending Mad Cool in Madrid who still have 3 headliners too announce. Crazier things have happened in the world of music
Having a feeling Europe will be 2025 and possibly a show in Evertons New Stadium which I'd definitely travel over for
-
@irishroad77 I'm almost sure that after the American, Australian, South American tour... it's Europe's turn and very possibly Japan. It's not an intuition, it's just reasonable logic. It wouldn't be a world tour without these two continents. The question is whether Paul's European tour will be in the spring of 2024 in large stadiums or in the fall in indoor stadiums. I'm sure the serious rumors will start soon.

I hope that Spain and Italy are included in the European tour. Paul really wanted to play in Barcelona and Naples in 2020. One of the conditions that Paul set to the Italian promoter to do the concert at the Lucca Festival was that he wanted to do a second concert in Italy, specifically in Naples, a city that he loves, like Barcelona.
-
I am sure, too, that soon Paul will announce a Europe Tour. We deserve it!! Lucca Festival is not my favourite place, but I will go there all the same. and in other venues, too, I hope! Let's hope it will be as soon as possible!
-
I agree that it will probably be Europe and Japan this year.
If he plays at the Lucca Summer Festival it would be in June, but shouldn't the announcement have been made by now? I mean, his 2020 appearance (later cancelled due to the pandemic) was announced in November 2019.
There's also the possibility of November/December concerts, as he did back in 2018.
-
@5th-beatle Paul announced the spring 2015 European tour in early March. I think there is plenty of time left to announce a European tour.
-
@irishroad77 I was going to say he hasn't played in August in awhile but went through the past tours and seems I was misremembering. He doesn't do it very often but he still plays in that month. I could see him being attracted to playing a historically important venue like Croke Park. Hopefully though. It'd be a grand show as would Everton.

There's a good chance that Paul's current tour will be his last big world tour. And in a hypothetical European tour I think there are some cities on the European continent that will be fixed due to their importance in Paul's musical life, here is my safe bet:
1-London
2- Liverpool
3-Paris.
4-Hamburg,
sure!,
and maybe:
Rotterdam or Amsterdam, Berlin , some Italian city (Lucca, Milan or Rome), maybe Barcelona?, maybe Dublin and some Scottish city. -
@no-values Yes, there's still plenty of time to announce a summer Euro tour if we are not including the Lucca festival.
I was surprised by the large amount of concerts he recently did in Australia and Brazil (plus a couple in Mexico), as if he were saying farewell to those markets.
If he sticks to that pattern in 2024 it would be reasonable to expect at least half a dozen concerts in the main European cities.

Italian TV reports that Paul McCartney's tour management is in negotiations to play concerts in Italy this summer, suggesting an imminent European tour. At the same time, the channel announced that Paul plans to release a new studio album this spring.
Although this can be considered a rumor, the leaks from local concert organizers are precisely the first times we've heard of upcoming tours in the past, before official announcements.

@no-values Goood day. I have viewed the YouTube video of Sir Paul in Mexico several times. The song mix is fascinating, including him singing John's For the Benefit of Mr Kite. He is such a powerful force of positivity. Sir Paul's voice is now of limited range, so you're not going to get his Little Richard howls of Long Tall Sally and Kansas City. We are just so spoiled by his greatness, that we simply need to accentuate the positives as Sir Paul continues to perform for us. Peace and Love.

-For Who Says The Bell: 'GOT BACK' Mexico and Brazil Tour 2023-
The new one: "The Bell Says" ends with a hopeful:
"What can 2024 contribute to overcome it?"
Are you hinting at a new tour in 2024? -
I hope to see the Hofner bass from the Hamburg and Cavern era on this year's European tour.
