Lady (Frankie) Crisp:
I still can't believe it. I haven't made it on here since the concert last night, but the couple that got engaged on stage last night, "John" was my high school English teacher! I couldn't believe it! When he started singing when i'm 64, it was priceless! That is so him! He was also our class advisor for senior year. My class went into our senior year so poor, he used to pick on us while he urged us during fundraisers. He told us we would have a paperback yearbook. He even went so far as to rewrite paperback writer lyrics to "paperback yearbook". We came out ok & printed his lyrics in our hard cover yearbook! He was a great Beatles influence on me!
Now that is WONDERFUL! And you were there to see it happen! Sounds like a great teacher you had there and lovely that Paul made that special night happen for them both! Makes me admire Paul even more with down to earth and special things like that.

Did anyone get any photos of the LAST song or a BOW????? thanks
-
I think the gray in his hair looks great! Much more natural and real. Does he still have the rising stage in front or is that gone?
-
Still there and he used it the same way!
-
Rising stage is indeed still there two songs (Blackbird, Here Today). Here is a video I shot of "Blackbird".

Ooops Here it is,

Nice video!

Ooops Here it is,
Ha! I just spotted myself in that video! I was in the fourth row center and wearing a NY Yankees baseball cap that I took off and waived in the air! I'm off camera for most of your video. Did you happen to catch me in any others by any chance--you were at the proper angle

Can we get a definitive list of all the forum members that attended the show? It's too bad most of us didn't know who there was from this board. It'd be nice to be able to share pics, videos, and stories. I probably met or saw several of you but didn't even realize it.

Finally getting on here after an amazing show!! Just wanted to share a picture from the night... still on such a concert high! http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd470/mmilandvm/IMG_1342.jpg

Wow that's pretty cool! Talk about a great souvenir and it didn't cost you a dime!

Erik, I shot quite a few songs that night mostly all from that same angle (which I kinda dug because they do show a lot of Paul's interaction with the crowd), they are all posted on my YouTube channel. Here's a few more though; "Live and Let Die"
"Day Tripper" and "Hi, Hi, Hi" -
Thanks JoniFan! I can see myself waiving my cap in the first few seconds of that video! As LiveForever said it's a very cool and unexpected souvenir! Thanks for posting the other videos--I'll be sure to check them out! Thanks again!!

Wow! You got some great pics!! I hope you'll find a way to share the rest of them with us. I only had my iPhone and the pics were not that amazing, but a few good ones! Willing to share mine too if someone can tell me the best place to upload them to for sharing. Thanks!

I put them on Facebook first and then copy the properties.

Does Paul sell the recording of performances? I was at the Times Union Center on July 5th and want to be able to relive the night with a recording of the show. Does anyone know if that is something I can get my hands on?

You can watch the whole show (or most of it, at least) on youtube for free, as many fans have uploaded their videos already.

Hi Mark! I was sitting next to two "mature" women that had seen the Beatles in the 60s. They had matching shirts that said something on the back about 50 years--nice women. There was tall guy in front of me with a bowler hat that was holding up signs--luckily I'm 6'4" and was taller than him. My buddy Tom was on my right but wandered for half the show. We were in Row D Seats 5 & 6 (center section). I remember seeing you with a friend or two but had no idea you were from the forum or I certainly would have said hi and chatted! I think you were behind me to the right. I think there might have been a "large" guy in front of you that finally swapped seats with his wife as he was taking up part of my buddy's chair. My buddy almost sought out another seat so I was grateful that he offered to swap seats with his wife so I could see the show with my buddy.
