Oh I remember those two girls! Short with dark hair, right? They were a row in front and bit left of me but those signs did start to get on my nerves a bit. The bowler hat dude had a bunch of signs too but he didn't keep them up for very long

Welcome to the forum John! Very nice article indeed!

Did anyone besides me notice that at the very end of the show after playing The End when Paul handed what I believe was a Gibson Les Paul to the roadie that it dropped to the stage? The roadie dove for the guitar but unfortunately missed it! Not sure who dropped the guitar but Paul was nice to the roadie afterwards. I hope the guitar was OK!!

Accidents happen. I think McCartney can afford a new one if it broke!

Finally getting on here after an amazing show!! Just wanted to share a picture from the night... still on such a concert high!
Wow! You got some great pics!! I hope you'll find a way to share the rest of them with us. I only had my iPhone and the pics were not that amazing, but a few good ones! Willing to share mine too if someone can tell me the best place to upload them to for sharing. Thanks!
I put them on Facebook first and then copy the properties.
i I only have a few decent ones but I will upload them to their own album and post the link here later or tomorrow!

Hello Everyone, If you are interested in seeing some good pictures of the Albany show, I've posted a set on my Flickr page. There are 60 pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjthibeault/sets/72157645151889207/ I hope you all enjoy them.

Mark, Man you got some great pics! I remember seeing you and your friends there at soundcheck--didn't know really who was from this board. I only had my iPhone so my pics are not that great. I have a larger Nikon with fixed lens which I should have brought but someone here posted about security giving them a hard time with a similar camera so I thought not to bring it
I had two full frame cameras in my trunk (a 5D M3 and a A99). I asked Times Union specifically about their policy for this show, and I was told no photography. So... I left my good cameras in the car and took a RX100 and a F900 EXR instead. Once inside, I saw a number of people with interchangeable lens cameras. I was not too happy. Oh well. Great shots, Mark.

That's not just any roadie, that is Paul's long-time employee John Hammel. And I think it was Paul who almost caused the guitar to drop. The story is up on the Macca Report and you can sort of see it happen in a video of The End that is up on You Tube. Thanks to all for the reviews and pix!

Here is video that I took of the Marriage Proposal. It was a great moment! Congratulations John and Claudia!
Podgie (He booked the band?! I hope I'm invited!) Monkey -

Someone on another forum who was seated in full view of this incident and saw it happen said John Hammel tripped. Not Paul.

I suspect all of the band's vintage instruments are insured, especially that little violin bass. Instruments get broken on the road. That is part of touring.

Did anyone else stay at the hilton? The band were so friendly, especially Brian and Abe!
I staid at the Hilton, and I agree, between the wife and i we met the whole band, well, except you know?..Abe and Brian were real great, real nice to chat to, I met Wix the next morning at the breakfast buffet, he was very polite, said "good morning" on encountering him?i wished him a good show?Abe seemed to be the happiest man on Earth?.
