Real Time With Bill Maher Feb. 3, 2023
âThere was once a different musician named John Lennon who wrote a song called Revolution. And people who didnât really listen to it thought it was a rah-rah call for Revolution. No, it was the opposite. The lyrics are âYou say you want a revolution, well you know, we all want to change the world. But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you ainât gonna make it with anyone anyhow.â Thereâs a guy who understood how good intentions can turn into the insane arrogance of thinking your revolution is so f-ing awesome and your generation is so mind-bendingly improved that you have bequeathed the world with a new kind of human. Youâre welcome.â(Right before all that he was talking about the banjo player from Mumford & Sons who tweeted that he liked a book that apparently wasnât on the âapproved listââ and he had to delete the tweet, take time off from the band and issue an apology.) The 21st century version of âThe Beatles are bigger than Jesus!â

That seems as unlikely as the rumor that Yoko never heard of The Beatles!

Last night on Steve Harvey's New... Little Big Shots show, there was an 8 year old Latino young man who said that The Beatles were his favorite band! He went on to sing Blackbird and play it on the guitar. It was beautiful!!
I love it when the kids love their grandparents music!!
This will blow your mind!
Saw this some years ago. Its just as good now, as it was back then

Yeah, I heard that years later. When I was a kid I thought he meant âhung upâ (not literally) like the expression of the day. Maybe you didnât have that expression in the U.K.
