Collecting Beatles Memorabilia!
-
.....so has anyone added any memorabilia to their Beatles collection? ...why not tell us about it...or even show us if you can... .....i'd love to see and hear about it. ...have a GREAT day!

I am so excited! ...my latest autographs are coming by fedex today. It's a Paul & George autograph collection that I won at RRAuction last week. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from Perry Cox, Frank Caiazzo and TRACKS. ....whooo hoooo
-
this is part of what it looks like..... ....its from an original concert program from the March 13, 1963 Chris Montez and Tommy Rose concert, featuring the Beatles (John was absent that day) .....both Paul and George signed it...and it is also signed by Chris Montez and twice by Tommy Roe. ...and although it says...To Ann... ....make that T a J and it's me...
-
You could do that with a stroke of a pen. At least with George's. Paul's handwriting is kind of sloppy.
-
Serious question...are autographs worth any less when they are personilized? As you said...it's not your name. It would be a shame to try & fix that T if the ink didn't match. Very nice piece though. Congrats!

Yes they are. That was why I was able to get Paul's signature at a reasonable price. But since it was inscribed to the same name as mine I didn't mind.

I picked up a 62 pre-parlophone John Lennon signed card.

...yeah...but then it wouldn't be any fun or any use in having it.

hi ooubu ...thanks!. .but i wouldn't want to cancel out the 4 COAs I got for this piece.. .. .well i'm not too certain...you would think so????...but from what i understand the value is based on the type of document it's on and the year the autograph is signed, along with the condition of the document and signature....but i could be wrong. ...when i get a COA from Frank....he tells me its based on the approx year it was signed.

I got a copy of Postcards from the Boys and had a surprise. The back page was signed by Ringo! My first Beatle autograph! My nephew, whom I raised like a son, just moved out of state and he sent me a signed RIngo t-shirt he saw and knew he just had to get it for me! I have bought a ton of books in the past few monts. (I have a serious addiction to them). I've seen some old Friar Park postcards from way before George bought the park meeting some people that are really into Friar Park as much as I am. One was embossed on a plaque turned into a piece of artwork to look 'old timey' in a weird modern clay frame. The same artist did the same with a photo of Tittenhurst making the photo look as old as Friar Park. She's got other neat houses from England too in that collection but I really noticed the Beatles ones.

Every copy has it, it's a printed signature.

That's a very nice one. Do you mind saying where you bought this from? I'm very interesting in collecting autographs, but I'm not sure who are the reputable dealers. I know Caiazzo is the best, and Perry Cox. Are there any others that are good?
