So glad you're back Beatlemaniac!!! Was getting quite scared about asking for your whereabouts!!! Really hope you haven't been ill or anything nasty like that. Anyway just bought a beige Beatles wallet to add to my collection, didn't really think I would get it. Now all I need are the others. So glad that you're back!!
thank you so much for your thoughts (((cassandra)))) ...no honey i wasn't sick or anything of that nature (knock on wood) ...and i wasn't "away" ...just took a break...computer problems...forgetting my password, etc. hey are you talking about the RAMAT 1964 wallets????? ...i just recently obtained another pink ...i now have 2 pink and 2 yellow....need the beige ...and blue, and red! ..do you know if those were all the colors??? i original said i had red earlier...but after checking them i have 2 Pink and 2 Yellow ....however, one of the yellow's are missing the clasp. here they are:

Crossover Genius:
Alright, let's see... I've got bunches of stuffs... The Beatles: A Biography by Bob Spitz A Beatles poster with the cover of every album they released chronologically, in a poster frame I have a beatles shirt (acquired at Macy's) 2 John Lennon shirts (one blue that says Imagine at the bottom acquired at Gap and another that is gray acquired at Target) I have the Red Album and the Blue Album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band I Me Mine (George Harrison's Autobiography) A Hard Day's Night DVD (the Miramax one, acquired for $14 at Barnes and Noble) Help! DVD, acquired at a book store (I assume Barnes and Noble or Borders) The Anthology 2 and 3, yet to locate Anthology 1 A Beatles Magnet similiar to the cover for Live at the BBC, acquired at Seven Eleven (which is known to carry Beatles memorabillia, by the way) Live at the BBC Lennon and McCartney Solos for the violin The Beatles: First US Visit DVD Sheet music for Honor Orchestra of All Together Now and Yellow Submarine My Aunts (who were obsessed with the Beatles as well...) Have all of their albums on vinyl (lucky them) and several many posters, shirts, etc. I'm yet to see these, though. My dad had the original Butcher cover, BUT he traded it in for an Aerosmith album sometime in the '80s. Oh, but the Aerosmith album was great My last year's language arts teacher has a decoupage Beatles bookcase that he made himself with random pictures of the Beatles he had lying around (and found on the internet) it is about 4 feet tall 1 foot wide and 4 foot long. He's got an autographed Abbey Road poster (I forgot to ask if they are copies or authentic autographs, sorry!) he's also got every Beatles song imaginable and then some on his Ipod and has an enlarged picture of John (enlarged, as in life size) that he uses to teach us to write SECC paragraphs, or something to those degrees. (pronounce it as sec-see and you'll possibly see why...he also had a Jay-lo poster in the other hand...) and I'd like to know what he'd have lying around his house. Also, ASU (Arizona State University, for people out of country or simply had no clue, I know I wouldn't know it if I didn't live in Arizona) has a class over the summer that you can take and "analyze" the Beatles songs, but I'd be the one sitting there listening to the songs and not doing to work at all, or I'd do the work but my response would be "it's a Beatles song. No one should even attempt to figure them out. It's useless. Now, shush...I love this song..." Also, I own a copy of S.E. Hinton, even though she mentions that that Beatles aren't "tuff" and that Elvis is, the fact that she mentions them is enough for me. I think I got everything... I'll be acquiring the Beatles: Rock Band soon (37 days, to be exact). Recently (Sunday??) I acquired Beatles themed guitar picks. I learned to play the C chord with Paul, the G7 chord with John, Dm chord with Ringo and I'll use George to figure out how to switch between chords... I'm also saving up $40 to buy a Beatles vegan-friendly guitar strap. I have a vague feeling I'm forgetting something... My little brother's old security blanket (which he didn't use much, anyways) not only 'cos it's extravagently adorable, but it has original John Lennon doodles of adorable zoo animals and his signature. I also kyped The Beatles Apples to Apples card from the game. I'm also considering going through and adding "The 1960s" card to my wall, as well. I've also got countless doodles. My story (nothing to boast about, but I'll put it in here anyways) on FanFiction.net. Hopefully that works...it is random. Random. Random. You asked.
pretty awesome stuff.. .i love the way you get excited describing the stuff you have..... ..keep on collecting. ...wow that's something about your dad trading off his butcher cover ...
-
WixRocks!:
Wow! Thats a lot! I bet your dad is really regretting that trade!!! I just got back from a day trip to rehobeth beach and I picked up a deck of Beatle Playing Cards!
i love playing with my beatles cards also...have to have two...one to play and one to keep.
-
WixRocks!:
Yeah, it was fun! The deck of cards were only $3!!! Yeah, Instant Karma!!! Oh well, maybe yuo'll come across another some time I've got Yesterday and Today on vinyl, but not the butcher cover, and its the seecond release on Apple Records, so its probably not worth too much...
same here about the cards. ...instant karma... lmao...i like that! ...hey nice addition to your collection...hmmm i think thats one LP i don't have...besides of course the butcher cover.

lol_lennon:
I saw the Butcher cover at a market in Camden when I was on vacation and... did not buy it. I do not know why. I regret it every day.

PaulaJ:
I bought a whole pile of great stuff (records, newspapers, Beatlemania game) at a local antique market a month ago. (I think I posted a list here somwhere a few pages back). I bought the original Sgt. Pepper songbook but the front cover was missing so I asked the vendor, if she found it, to please contact me. Well, she did! I went back down to the market this past Sunday to get it. She also had the songbook for the Beatles '65 album. I bought that too! I also bought the Beatles VI album and Paul's Red Rose Speedway album and a pile of 45's including With A Little Help From My Friends /The Fool On The Hill recorded by Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 and John's Happy XMas (War is Over)/Beautiful Boy
hey that's pretty awesome ...don't you just love collecting vinyls.
