Full concert. I think they sound great despite lack of monitors, etc... Hurry before it gets removed for copyright issues. https://www.facebook.com/MagicalMysteryChannel/videos/557700067724073/

I may be wrong, but I think for this TV show they re-recorded the songs in a studio because the sound recording from the show was so bad and overcome by audience noise. But who knows? Sounds good either way!

Most of it is live, you can see it. They could never have overdubbed it that perfectly. Watching the close-ups of John and Paul on Baby's In Black gives me shivers. Dizzie Miss Lizzie is awesome. Act Naturally is most certainly the studio recording dubbed in over the screams. But yes, a very historic and exciting night, and it sounds great!

The picture and sound quality of The Beatles at Shea Stadium is getting better with time. I own many different versions of this historic concert, the two I own in Blu-Ray look and sound outstanding!

You are correct, quite a bit of work was done on the soundtrack. This was mainly carried out on 5th January 1966 at CTS, at the time London's premier audio-to-film dubbing studio. According to Mark Lewisohn's 'The Complete Beatles Chronicle' book, the following work took place. Paul overdubs new bass guitar tracks to: Dizzy Miss Lizzy Can't Buy Me Love Baby's In Black I'm Down. The Beatles record new versions of: I Feel Fine Help. The post-production team replaces the live version with the studio version for: Act Naturally The post-production team uses the 30th August 1965 Hollywood Bowl performance to bolster the Shea Stadium recording for: Twist and Shout. .

Actually. if you watch the first "wooooooooo" from Paul and George on Twist and Shout, George isn't even at the mic or singing, but you hear his voice. So it was re-recorded, at least partially.

I couldn't get the damn thing to play properly. Kept stopping at the beginning. Doesn't matter--I have a DVD of it given to me by Tony Bramwell. (given to each of us on one of the Beatles cruises)

Awesome! It is just fun to watch and reminds me of when I saw them in St. Louis.
