Just wanted to share a little story from this past weekend. Like many of us (myself included) my children are growing up listening to the Beatles. My oldest, my 4-year-old son, Dylan is particularly enamored by the Fab Four - probably because he began listening to the Beatles and hearing about them since before he was even born Anyway, this past weekend, we are at a coffee shop. I'm in line, when out of the corner of my eye, I spot a copy of Rolling Stone Magazine with the Beatles on the cover in the middle of the magazine rack. Not wanting to lose my place in line, I ask Dylan to go and bring me back the magazine with the Beatles on the cover. The couple behind me chuckled and I overheard one of them say to the other, something along the lines of "I doubt that little kid knows who the Beatles are..." Or something to that effect. Sure enough, within seconds, Dylan comes running back, magazine in hand and proudly gives it to his even prouder papa! The people behind me were amazed, as were a few other onlookers who witnessed the incident. Starting em young!

One of the things I love about a Paul concert is seeing the different ages, and whole families there together. Lovely!

Yes, that is a great story! Thisbe211, I saw the same kind of multi-generational families at Paul's Fenway Park concert last summer, and it really is so special.

Good stuff.... just when I'm starting to get worried that the younger generation is slipping away from the Beatles. I inadvertently came across Family Feud on TV today. Now, I would've skipped it, naturally, but the question was: "Name Famous Georges". So I kinda held on, wondering if our George was #1. Clooney was #1. Bush, Prince George, King George, etc. One contestant offered George Harrison, which I thought was a certainty. The audience ummed, as if to suggest disagreement with the answer. He said: "You know, George Harrison. The Beatles?!" Der, der.... Not one of the TEN answers. Not one of the ten! Boy George was ahead of him! So, I do get worried. And disillusioned.

The Beatles album, ever since is my favorite and until now. I love most hearing on their composition and how they interpret it. I remember long time ago I've always wanted to watch their music shown on television. Now that I am having 2 grown-up children, like me they are also learn to love hearing the Beatles music. _____________ [color=#4080BF]So, easy to unlock with lock pick tools.

I happened to see that too, and found myself instantly shouting George Harrison at the screen when the question was asked. I hated the audiences reactions though. George is my favourite Beatle, so he instantly came to mind... But the fact the contestant had to explain to the audience! I believe that our George totally deserved first place, but not even a listing?! That's harsh. You'd think that after all his contributions to the music and film industry, and his dedication to religion he would be recognised. Its a real shame, but despite this, he will always have loyal fans ( who get defensive over these things).
