I posted this elsewhere, and this is a copy/paste due to suffering an eye infection atm. And a hiccup. I found Bob Eubank's Facebook page. Eubanks was an L.A. Top 40's D.J. who was also the host of the original The Newlywed Game. You know him. He is a traditional style of respectable D.J. He also hosts The Rose Parade on KTLA 5 TV every year. He is the kind of personality who might be heard saying something like, "You know...when I think back to all of those Wonderful Memories over the years..." You know. While still a D.J., Eubanks produced The Beatles' L.A. appearances at The Hollywood Bowl. He had an on-air contest, in association with Baskin-Robbins' 31 Flavors (a chain of ice cream parlors). And they were introducing their new flavor, dubbed "Scuzzy Ice Cream". The contest was for Beatles' tickets to The Bowl. As McCartney sings in his Wings song, "Rock Show". But in 1965. And all entries received a photo from the radio station's press conference. My Brother got his. The Beatles sitting on the stage at the table. Eubanks is standing to the side. And over the heads of the four lads was a huge banner with the word, "Scuzzy". I think it's all that the giant banner said. The picture has since been lost. I posted on Eubank's Facebook page, being very polite with a slight bit of humor, (you know me...) asking him if he remembered that picture, or had a copy. His response was to remove all public comments and postings from his FB page... Has anybody here seen The Beatles' "Scuzzy" photo?

I thought the ice cream was called "Beatle Nut". I remember reading that somewhere.

Given the rarity of the "Scuzzy Photo", I'm wondering if we have it packed away somewhere? I do remember for some reason my Brother traced the letters "Scuzzy" with a Marks-a-Lot. I guess he didn't care about the ice cream! Scuzzy ice cream was a flavor created by the KRLA D.J.s and it appeared during the 1965 Beatles tour.

Savoy Truffle would be a good ice cream flavor.
