In the book bio George Harrison: Behind the Locked Door by Graeme Thompson, he confirms that George passed away in Paul's house in Los Angeles. But it was leaked to the press that he died in Santa Barbara to afford the family privacy.

I think I remember that, now. Thanks for the refresher course. When reading about it, it sounded like he died at Paul's house in England.
