2018 Tours?

It looks like he is focus on finish the new album. I think he is going to back on stage in June, with some US dates.

Is it just me or has it been quieter than usual? No April shows, which he's done the last few years. Earliest shows now would be May...
I'm personally pushing for Brazil as I had to miss out last year and regretted it.
It is quieter than usual indeed. In previous years he would usually start making announcements in early March for concerts during the following months.
As a previous poster said, his focus seems to be on finishing his new album. I would expect him to announce some shows in the US for June/July/August, but that's just a guess.
Even though the current rumors for September/October include Brazil I will be surprised if any concerts are confirmed here, due to those 4 concerts that happened just last October. My bet is on Uruguay and Chile (perhaps adding Peru and/or Colombia as well) this year.

Just saw Paul interviewed on CNN marching in New York with the gun violence protesters.

He’s all over twitter with people posting about it.

Almost April and no tour news or even the slightest credible rumor. Hmmmm

Major Cities that were played in 2014-
Los Angeles
Kansas City
San Antonio
Dallas
Denver
Out of those, I would only see maybe 2 of the Texas cities (Austin and Houston?), either Anaheim or LA not both... DOubt we'll see much Northeast US this year after last year's epic marathon 9 show NYC area +Syracuse run. Orlando seems unlikely since he just played Tampa last year. To me the most likely are Indianapolis, Houston, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Memphis, Charlotte/Raleigh/somewhere in NC and another Texas city perhaps. Anyone else think of other possible candidates for US cities? Time to revisit one of the huge metros from 1on1 2016 like Minneapolis-St Paul, Washington DC, Seattle, Cleveland or Vancouver? (assuming it's a new tour)
Not to nitpick, but he definitely didn’t play Denver in 2014. No Colorado shows since 2010.

Is it possible any tours he does won't start until the new album is released? If, let's say, his album will be released in September, then maybe he'll want to begin touring at the same time? What's the latest he's ever started touring? Has he ever started touring late summer/early fall before?

I would tend to doubt that he'd skip summer shows, but I guess we'll see when we see

Yes, much too lucrative.

That's true. He began 2017 by announcing (on New Year's Eve) Japanese concerts for April.
In late April he announced US concerts for July, September and October.
Then there was an announcement in May for Latin America in October.
Finally, an announcement in June for Australia & New Zealand in December.
Taking into consideration that there are rumors of South America in September/October (just like there were rumors early last year that came true), I won't be surprised in he handles the announcements in a similar timetable this year.

On Macca's FB profie there is a hint, probably. Paul on stage with cheering crowd. Hope to hear that Macca will play anywhere, only to know that he still can do it and have power to do it!

Yes..Paul's tours in 1989 and 2005 began in September.

A US tour seems likely with the new album coming out and everything. Does anyone know if Pittsburgh will be a stop? Its been four years and I've been dying to see Paul a second time.

Just keep checking back here and make sure you’re on the paul mccartney.com email list as well.
-
I hope he will be touring this year and finally come in Italy!
-
It seems that promoters in Argentina are trying very hard to secure McCartney concerts between October and November.
If they succeed, my bet would be the River Plate stadium in Buenos Aires, as the last time he played there was in November 2010. He can easily sell out two nights in that venue, as it's a quite lucrative market.
-
In 2012 he was off in June, July and August probably to work on "New". Maybe something like that is happening again, which could explain why he is not doing shows in April and May.
I think we'll have some news about summer shows very soon. If we don't get any show in the US this year, then I really won't know what to think. -
So, do you guy thinks that 'One on One' is over?
After this long break, I suppose that when he'll resume touring (probably near the release of the new album), it will be under a different tour name, logo to mark the relation with this 'new album'.
