I’ve also heard rumours about Liverpool Echo Arena and 02 Arena London
Sounds great. When?
End of the year I heard, possibly Nov/Dec

I wonder if they'll do a secret show in Austin between weekends.
-

I would be thoroughly surprised and disappointed if Paul did not promote a new record with several US cities this fall. Nothing massive...but several.
That would be great! We can always hope! I can't imagine he'd not do the US at all... maybe 5-10 shows are possible after October 1. Ideal would be Kansas City, Milwaukee, Denver, California, Seattle or Portland and Charleston, S.C (or Jacksonville or somewhere in the Southern U.S.....) *Keeping fingers crossed*
Some California dates would make sense...and Denver is overdue, but all those others have been visited fairly recently, considering the regularity at which they've been visited over the years.
I still can't imagine him doing nothing on the East Coast with a new album to plug. He knows he can sell out Philadelphia, either venue, in a heart beat. New York would be foolish after last year, and perhaps DC and/or Boston would be a bit of a stretch. There just seems to be something special about Philadelphia for him. It's a home-run every time.
As for who may be the grand opener for Milwaukee...perhaps Billy Joel? He's one to do the whole venue opening shtick much like Paul...and he hasn't been there in a decade.
Except Billy Joel just sold out Lambeau Field last June, But who knows???

Me neither! Surely it's a hint about a pending show announcement...? Why else would they post three photos of the Hofner bass in various Beatle related locations around Liverpool?
-
Can’t help feeling it’s a bit on the nose for a tour announcement, hopes I’m wrong though

their twitter feed as well

Maybe one or two gigs there before the summer is out
-
I very well could mean a show. Rumors for Europe late in the year have been popping up so it would fit. I don't believe that it would be prior to November

Exactly, you can even see a photo of Paul's face in the background of the Cavern photo

If an announcement was a few days off then I would expect to see these photos say every day not every 2 hours - potentially we may hear something tonight or tomorrow

They are getting ready to announce, it's obvious. Nothing yet on the O2 feed.

Thew newspaper sponsors the Arena I believe

The Echo Arena also runs smaller performance spaces so perhaps this may be an announcement of one of the little gigs Paul mentioned
