^^ thanks. I was actually so sad about John's birthday I couldn't look at any photos or listen to his music that day. I have never done that before. I was walking through a drugstore on his birthday and there were two magazines with John's photo on the cover, and my heart skipped a beat. Funny how people you never knew can have such an effect on your life.

Last night I pulled out "Milk and Honey" and cried like a baby over "Grow Old With Me."

I cry a lot when I listen to "Beautiful Boy" from "Double Fantasy," especially with lines like these: "Out on the ocean sailing away I can hardly wait to see you come of age But I guess, we'll both just have to be patient..."

Most every song on DF and M&H have lyrics that, because of what transpired are just gut wrenching. And somehow...it makes for a painful, but apt closure.

Amazing song. That is my wife's and my wedding song. Never forget John Lennon.

Saw a special "Newsweek" mag devoted to John's memory.

They usually give everyone a full head of hair and have them dress like they did in the '60s, so that one was nice.

Living is easy with eyes closed...until you blow your mind out in a car.
