Your comment is totally uninformed. You've obviously never listened to Yes, I'm Your Angel from Double Fantasy. And a few others of hers too.
Unfortunately I've heard all of her "songs" on that album since John (thanks John for forcing us to listed to her caterwauling!) unfortunately interlaced them between his . I think I had to tape just his to cassette back in those days in order to enjoy the album. She sure as heck ain't no B-52s!

I have to agree with Erik. There are very few Yoko songs I can stand to listen to (maybe Listen The Snow Is Falling)

At least Tim had a crumb of talent (even if it was a tiny one--no pun intended) and could approximate a tune. Yoko couldn't hold a tune in a basket! And John must have been drunk when he said the B-52s were doing the same thing Yoko did 20 years before--maybe if you played them backwards at half speed

Move On Fast, I'm Moving On, Walking On Thin Ice, Death Of Samantha, Nobody Sees Me Like You Do, It Happened...heaps of really good songs.

Rock Lobster wasn't one of my favorite B-52 songs, but it wasn't Yoko bad I read that the reason John didn't perform at Concert for Bangladesh was that George asked John to play without Yoko. John told Yoko about it and she apparently had a fit. According to Peter Brown John and George didn't speak for a few years after that.
-
It was a worse story than that! John wanted to perform at Bangladesh and when he told Yoko she said he could only do it if she was on the stage too (with her horrific caterwauling). John phoned George back and George basically said sorry I can't deal with Yoko so they decided it was best for John not to be there because Yoko would have freaked out had he done it without her. It shows you how petty & controlling Yoko was. With all the problems George was having getting Clapton to actually show up, I'm not surprised he didn't want Yoko there. Besides she had no business being on stage with those musicians anyway. (This is my opinion of course )

Note to self: Yoko i ii iii Hope you had a great birthday!

Moderator post Although we appreciate that Yoko Ono is a controversial figure in Beatles history whose art and actions have always provoked strong commentaries, we still ask users to please refrain from making derogatory remarks about her. Thank you

I thought it was John who wouldn't perform without Yoko. Well, anyway, agree with your 2nd paragraph!

I didn't expect to like this, but it's pretty rockin'. Yoko Ono - Cheshire Cat Cry (w/ Plastic Ono Band & The Flaming Lips) (live @ Late Show w/ David Letterman 10-2-2013:
