Jason, Ringo and Lee. A rare picture of Ringo without a beard. https://68.media.tumblr.com/70a16b0986854cb257516f69ae1f4884/tumblr_mp4j3rash21rkj9c8o1_500.jpg
That was probably taken during the time he was filming That'll Be The Day and he had to shave it. P.S. Jason looks so much like him!
no that was mid 80s (edit - it was 91!) i think, for a short while he had no beard - i remember him being on some stuff (plus look at the ages of Jason and Lee!) My memory said it was when he was on aspel with George, but i just looked and it isn't, but, as it's a good long int i'll link it anyway! (Though Ringo seemed drunk, and with it being the era he was!)
i'll be back if i find proof!! -
ok so i can't find another pic of Ringo beardless in 91 But i do notice this picture Sean posted of him and Julian taken a couple of days ago for his bday

Seeing Ringo without a beard is like seeing Jeff Lynne without sunglasses.

Rare photo of Mary McCartney (second from right) with Uncle Mike and his 3 daughters, Abbi, Theran and Benna (whose middle name is Mary! She was born 8 months before her) http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b1/njr55/The%20Beatles%20and%20Paul%20McCartney/image_17.jpeg
Mary looks exactly the same today. Maybe a little taller.

This is an article from People, June 2, 2016. Not sure if anyone has posted it before, but wanted to share this lovely photo of Stella with Barbara Bach Starkey and Olivia Harrison. Photographed by Bjorn Iooss for PORTER http://people.com/style/stella-mccartney-reflects-on-her-crazy-famous-people-pals-for-her-brands-15-year-anniversary/ Stella McCartney Reflects on Her 'Crazy Famous People' Pals for Her Brand's 15 Year Anniversary BY COLLEEN KRATOFIL POSTED ON JUNE 2, 2016 AT 4:15PM EDT
"People always want to ask me about my famous friends, and I'm always like: 'Yeah, I've got a lot of famous friends,' but I grew up around that and I'm not kind of... you know, yeah, it's great, like there's a greatness to it, but I'm also a bit like, I've also got a really great bunch of girls that are godmothers and they are not famous," McCartney explains. She adds that her childhood had a similar balance, consisting of rock 'n roll and country living. "I lived on a farm, but I went on tour and I knew crazy famous people, like crazy. And for my children, it's not dissimilar, they go to the farm and they're in the field getting muddy and falling over, and then they come here and they're surrounded by crazy famous people. I worry about that. But I think I turned out okay-ish, and I hope that they will be okay."
As for her famous dad, he's busy being a rad "GrandDude" to her four children. "I love seeing them with grandpa, or GrandDude, as they call him, they're really proud of him and they get excited by it [Sir Paul McCartney's music]... They have a great relationship with him."
So what are a few key pieces to her success? Number one is to achieve longevity. "My grandpa Lee always used to say to me 'staying power' -- that was his thing. He was a very impressive man, amazing man... I was like, if I can have staying power, that's a real achievement."

not a pic but a fab video i'm going to link to skip to 51.00 to see 10 year old James speak on live TV with Paul (Dec 87 plugging Once upon a long ago on "Going live" (Saturday morning live 3 hour long kids tv show)
Came across this 1 hour youtube video tonight - it's fantastic as it's straight from someones tv collection, and it's an hour of 80s british TV Paul stuff, all of which i remember and it was before we got a video recorder so i used to audio tape many of these interviews and listen again and again (We got a video in Decemebr 1988 btw!) (Still have all my tapes, but i found out 3 years ago many were full of white mould and i had to get rid *cries*) -
ooh ooh i'm all excited now i've just seen this on the same users videos!! skip to 8 min 42 to see Julian Lennon, live at Manchester HMV in April 1992
i was there!!!! I met him!!! Ok i'm not on te video, but it was so brilliant - we got 5 acoustic songs and then queued to meet him, i have the most horrible picture of 17 year old me grinning too much glued to the side of his head, but happy memories ( Ihave this report on VHS still, it didn't rot, i don't think.. i guess i haven't checked that one) -

Lovely photo and I do like seeing black and white pictures. Years ago my daughter had a dance photo shoot of her at Florida State University and I just loved the black and white pictures that were taken.

I think Stella & Barbara look bad in this black & white.
