    Why don't they remix Free as a Bird?

      From what I've read, the technology today could vastly improve on the song that was released 20+ years ago using older technology. Also, throw in 'Now and Then' as the B-side while we're at it!

          Both the " threetles" tracks are clearly remixed on the 1+ dvd. You hear new guitar parts.

            It does sound much meatier on 1+. Wish they could have sped it up just a tad. Ringo's drumming, while great, if done a bit differently could have given it more energy. IMO

              Even in one hundred years time technology couldn't save that song, let alone improve it.

                    I just listened to the remix of FAAB. Still does nothing for me. Comes across as a slow dirge. Why did they mess with George's vocals? They should have had Ringo do something more interesting with the percussion.

                      I think you would like the remix of Real Love better then. The next remix opens up the song even more than FAAB.
