I'd like to hear this cd, Puma, based on a song of Sean's and Charlotte's you provided in another thread.
I assume that song is on this new album. So they've really released one, had read some scoffing New York gossip that "yeah, we'll believe it when we see it" noting Sean and another girlfriend had reportedly worked on an album together too, which never saw light of day. -
Yes SusyLuvsPaul Sean Lennon and his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl, their band The Goastt Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, released their first official album the end of last month in October.Its called the ' Acoustic Sessions.' I know they have said they are allmost all done recording and will be releasing a second album sometime in 2011.Thats electric with a full band.Sean started his own record label called 'Chimera Music'.So he produces his own albums and records them himself now.They curently run Chimera themselves out of their home in New York City.They are touring in Europe for a few days next month in December.Then they will be performing in the USA this coming Januray 2010.From what I have read and know.Sean has never in the past had any plans to record any new album with any former girlfriend.He did help produce and play on a couple of his Mom's solo 'Plastic Ono band albums.I think any information about Sean recording any album with a former friend girl was just gossip and not true.I decided to cut and paste some of the information in the older threads

darn the luck, can't get the NPR vid to play for more than a couple seconds at the time, then it cuts off. So I can't tell what they're saying or hear the song well or anything. Is it 'cause my laptop doesn't have enough "memory" and I should get a "memory card" to add more memory? Is that why my video viewing capacity screws up so often? Sometimes an entire vid will play straight through, but not usually. Usually it messes up a couple times towards the beginning and soon after. Sometimes it keeps messing up. I love to watch and hear music videos, so it's quite frustrating.

Sean Lennon's new video ' Schroedinger's Cat' Watch ' Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger' new video for their song 'Schroedinger's Cat" off of the band's latest album, Acoustic Sessions. The video was directed by Jordan Galland. The GOASTT - a duo consisting of Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl, will be on tour in Europe in December and in the USA in January 2011.

I have to say that I never bothered to check out Sean's stuff over the years aside from a video he did when he was about 8 or something, and I've given GOASST a listen from your videos and it's pretty cool stuff. I might even be motivated to go and buy the album.

Definately go and buy his 2006 album "friendly fire" - it's incredible. Honestly it really is, one of myfave albums ever. I've been lucky enough to meet Sean 4 times and he is just so lovely and kind to his fans, seen him in concert 4 times, first time was in 98 promoting the album "into the sun". Thanks for doing this thread, i'm not on facebook and things so am always behind on keeping up to date!
